If you really want to go with that analogy, it would be like finding out your child had stolen toys from other children, and the consequence of their actions would be to take the toys back, as well as not rewarding them with more toys.

Steal content on Hive = rewards removed

Recycle content on Hive = rewards removed

Abuse the terms of a community coin = rewards removed

It's not rocket science, it's culpability for malfeasance. In other words, bad behavior is punished, not rewarded. Try to spin it any way you like, the downvotes are a direct result of your actions.

Fine, then it's not worth posting is it ?

Might as well just upvote my comments and Power Down!

If you mean, it's not worth continuing to post stolen/recycled content in the hopes of milking the reward pool, then you're absolutely right. However, I've seen many people who have taken responsibility for their actions, and then gone on to become valued community members. It's all up to you and the choices you make.

The age limit on Hive is 13 years or higher. So that wouldn’t even be a problem.

So you are saying that your child would not mind her presents being taken away? I think she would? At any age.

Down Votes are depressing and destroy motivation, makes users power down and leave HIVE.

I would rather pay 0.25 Hive to post (with no downvote button). That's how it is on BLURT.

Hive rewards have nothing to do with children.

Ask anyone on Hive (adults or children). They will tell you: Automated "Down Votes" are slowly killing motivation & the Hive Platform.

You really don't understand: You can Down Vote me with just 1% HP , while your posts earn hundreds of Hive. You think that's fair, so we will never agree on this. Nothing will change.

I will continue to be instantly down-voted, no matter what I post! So what's the point of posting quality?

This post is Down-voted (but it has over 200 words and photos) Why?

I have been on BLURT since "Day ONE" Official Launch.

It was attacked, ridiculed and dismissed as being pathetic!

The Devs worked hard to find innovative solutions and now Blurt is showing huge potential (in my opinion).
