Hoy estaba recordando vagamente cada una de las películas y concluí que a lo mejor, si bien, no muchos han visto la saga, reconocen de forma casi inmediata a los Stormtroopers, dicho por mi abuela, los monos blancos con casco.
Today I vaguely remembered each of the movies, and I concluded that maybe, although not many have seen the saga, they immediately recognize the Stormtroopers, said by my grandmother, the white overalls with helmets.
Busqué en mi colección de figuras y me percaté que no tengo stormtroopers, sin embargo, tengo muchísimos clones y por ahí me encontré un stormtrooper de la Primera Orden. Este es nombrado como el ejecutor de la Primera Orden, era el encargado de asegurar lealtad completa, si no, a impartir "justicia" con su bastón eléctrico mandando al más allá a los stormtrooper declarados culpables de traición.
I looked through my collection of figures and realized that I don't have any stormtroopers. However, I have many clones, and I found a stormtrooper of the First Order. This one is named the enforcer of the First Order. He was in charge of ensuring complete loyalty, if not to impart "justice" with his electric baton by sending to the afterlife the stormtrooper found guilty of treason.
El personaje en el que está basado esta figura, aparece en Star Wars: The Last Jedi, la cual para muchos es la peor película de las secuelas, para otros, como en mi caso, una película que se disfruta hasta cierto punto sin necesidad de clavarse tanto. Es una figura que fue exclusiva de la tienda Target en Estados Unidos en el 2017, y en México se podía conseguir en las tiendas Soriana y Walmart, si no recuerdo mal. Tenía un costo de 450 pesos (23 dólares), pero la conseguí en oferta, con un costo de 100 pesos (5 dólares) aproximadamente.
The character on which this figure base appears in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which for many is the worst movie of the sequels, for others, as in my case, a film that enjoys to some extent. It is a figure exclusive to the Target store in the United States in 2017, and Mexico, it was available in Soriana and Walmart stores if I remember correctly. It had a cost of 450 pesos (23 dollars), but I got it on sale, with a fee of 100 pesos (5 dollars) approximately.
Con respecto a la figura, se parece mucho (considero que es el mismo) al molde utilizado para el stormtrooper de la Primera Orden que salió en la serie regular de caja roja en el 2015 (tengo la figura, pero no la encontré para hacer la comparación). La cabeza es diferente, ya que tiene la marca en color negro del lado derecho, además de que está mejor hecha que la primera versión, es un poco más ancha y con mayor ángulo en la parte delantera. Otro detalle a destacar, son los símbolos de la Primera Orden perpetuados en los hombros de la figura, quedaron muy bien hechos.
Regarding the figure, it looks very similar (I consider it to be the same) to the mold used for the stormtrooper of the First Order that came out in the regular red box series in 2015 (I have the figure, but I couldn't find it to make the comparison). The head is different, as it has the marking in black on the right side, plus it better than the first version. It is a little broader and more angled in the front. Another detail to emphasize is the symbols of the First Order perpetuated in the figure's shoulders. They are very well.
Con respecto a armas, esta figura decepciona totalmente, ya que solo cuenta con el bastón eléctrico en forma de garra. A pesar de ser el mismo molde que la primera versión del 2015, no trae consigo el bláster, por lo que en el muslo se ve muy feo el hueco diseñado para portar esta arma.
Regarding weapons, this figure is disappointing since it only has the electric cane in the form of a claw. Despite being the same mold as the first version of 2015, it does not come with the blaster, so the hole designed to carry this weapon on the thigh looks very ugly.
La articulación en esta figura, realmente es muy buena. Se puede girar la cabeza en todas las direcciones, el torso de igual forma, permite poder inclinar la figura para atrás y hacia adelante. Los brazos se pueden poner en ángulos de 90°, tiene codos de una articulación y muñecas articuladas. Se tienen articulaciones en los muslos, rodillas y tobillos, pudiendo hacer buenas poses.
The articulation in this figure is excellent. The head and torso can rotate in all directions, and the figure can tilt backward and forwards. The arms can set at 90° angles. There are single-jointed elbows and articulated wrists. There are joints in the thighs, knees, and ankles, being able to make good poses.
Algo que me disgusta de esta figura, es que el eje de su bastón es muy flexible, y al aplicarle cierta fuerza sufre mucha deformación. Realmente, es complicado dejar ese bastón totalmente recto. De ahí en fuera, todo me parece bueno.
I dislike this figure because the axis of his cane is very flexible, and when a particular force is applied to it, it suffers a lot of deformation. It is complicated to leave that cane straight. From there on, everything looks good to me.
Otro detalle a cuidar, es que la pintura negra, parece que solo está sobrepuesta, al mínimo roce esta se cae. También, existe variación en las partes blancas de la figura, a mí no me molesta, pero a alguien más selecto, pudiera molestarle que no exista homogeneidad en el color.
Another detail to take care of is that the black paint seems to be only overlapped. At the slightest touch, it falls off. Also, there is variation in the white parts of the figure, it does not bother me, but to someone more select, it could upset that there is no homogeneity in color.
En general, es una buena figura, a pesar de ser un molde reutilizado y repintado. Definitivamente, si tuviera la oportunidad de conseguir otro, no lo compraría a su precio original. Mi calificación para esta figura es 3.5 de 5.
Overall, it is a good figure, despite being a reused and repainted mold. Definitely, if I had the opportunity to get another one, I would not buy it at its original price. My rating for this figure is 3.5 out of 5.
