13 cats make a big bunch :) but it's a lucky number so - no problem. I was more a dog kind of human before, I had 4 dogs and cats were undomesticated in the garden where my mother fed them, but didn't touch them. The dogs, all but one, the Bepina that occasionally appears in the posts, eventually got old and died ... and I somehow finally decided to put the stop to cats reproduction around the house because there were always ugly scenes and young cats dying with many undomesticated cats around. I was determined to bring them to the veterinary for castrations and sterilizations, and for that I had to catch them. To catch them I had to domesticate them. It took many months of cat whispering and in the process we became real friends. Now I'm dog and cat person :D all in one.
I liked the cat before but was never so close with them, and didn't know about many nuances of their behavior and philosophy.
Wow, thank you for sharing such a unique and valuable insight into your life that is obviously full of cats, dogs and other animals :D I know, just from checking our posts, that you really live in a very special and rare harmony with animals.
