We all have experienced things that we simply cannot explain. It could be weird sightings in the sky, strange apparitions/noises, having a presage... Some of these experiences can be scary but they can also be very puzzling.
I have had 2 of these experiences but I only have the memory of the second one. In the first one, I was too young and have no recollection of that event.
I would begin by sharing the second one.
In short words, I had a premonition when I was kid. It was not a very important premonition but I guess it depends. What I saw was exactly a goal in an important football match that became true the next day.
Football is my favorite sport and the day before I was excited about the Champions League finale, I had my snacks and soda ready and was happily waiting for the match the next day. That night, I dreamed of a goal, it was exactly the same goal, by the same player and from the same TV perspective. I literally saw what I would see the next day in the match from the TV screen. I told 2 of my friends about the dream before the match. One of them remembered what I said after seeing the goal and he was very puzzled.
This goal wasn't a typical goal or a known strategy of the team, some teams after they have developed their style they can repeat plays and create signature goals or movements, this wasn't the case. The goal scorer wasn't a player known for scoring goals, he was a defender. I have thought about the possibility of this dream being just a coincidence but the truth is that it is extremely unlikely. The goal was simply too hard to predict, and also the goal scorer? and the same perspective from the TV? ... It is crazy. I honestly believe I saw a small premonition of what I would see in the future. Hence, I do believe premonitions are somehow real. I wish I knew how this could be possible?
Now with the first experience
It is similar. I was even younger this time, so young that I have no memory of anything. According to my mom, one night I suddenly woke up crying and screaming. I was scared for my dad and according to her, I said that I saw my dad covered in blood. I have never lived with my dad because my parents had me when they were very young, but we lived in the same city and have a good relationship.
Days or weeks later (I am not sure when), my paternal grandmother called my mother to inform her that my dad had suffered a car accident. He was in the hospital and he was going to recover. My mom believes I had that scary dream about my dad covered in blood the same night my father had the accident. He recovered nicely and he is all right of course.
So even though I don't have any recollection of that dream or ever having wakened up crying about my dad I believe that must have been something similar to a premonition. Somehow, I must have felt my dad was in danger, and more importantly, I must have seen him in my dreams while he was in the car after the accident.
How is this possible? I have no clue, but there are things we clearly don't understand.
What are your craziest paranormal/unexplainable experiences?
Mine is bit haunted...a black crow followed me from my morning walk till late at half past midnight. I woke up with a moaning sound only to find the crow sitting on a tree next to my window. And then it gone.
Well, that was a weird crow for sure O.o
I've been extremely intuitive and a Shamanic lifestyle practitioner for many years though the most starkly paranormal thing I've experienced was years before I was into that. I saw what appeared as a goblin running around the house at night when i was staying in a Serbian village. I only saw it that one night, very tangibly clear skittering around and when I tried to tackle it it vanished...
I know a lady who believes in goblins haha ^^.
I would have to see one myself in order to believe in their existence. Do you believe in premonitions?
I hear you Mate, I'm sure there's many explanations for percieving many things (goblins and premonitions included).
I have many preminissions though I couldn't tell you exactly "where" they come from or if any given vision is to be interpreted literally (each one is processed for what it is as it is in the moment). I just do my best to stay graceful and thank my Shamanic training for that reminder to humility.
All I can do is listen, love, learn, honour all, live a good life, walk in gentle strength and honestly show up to serve our community as best I can. The absolute understanding can be left to great mystery... unless deeper understanding can realistically help improve our wellbeing. 💚
In most cases I'm grateful serve, share and shine dancing with these resources of the human experience without needing to cling to controlling them.
I had indeed a similar dream. I can´t remember well, but in that dream my mother was about to die, and hardly a few days later she told me that she had cancer in a terminal stage. Maybe my subconsciousness knew somehow from her subtle changes in appearance, I don´t know, but it was really weird.
