RE: How do you perceive an Unfollow?

in Ask the Hivelast year

I don't often unfollow people. When I do, it is when they are too spammy (for me) with posts I have no (longer) interest in.

When people unfollow me, I guess I'm no longer producing content that they like. Which is tottaly normal, I change through the time and so do my writings change. Other people (and their interest) change as well.

Conclusion: No hard feelings at all, just a normal process of evolution!

Thanks for taking the time to share your opinion and to see it as an evolutionary process is a decent way to see it. I agree with the changes in style and interest.

No hard feelings, always best for everyones sake lol, though I understand if ppl get it wrong.

I get it that people don't like it at first sight aswell (me neither), but when I think more in depth about it, yes it's just an evolutionary process.
Was a good question brought by you! I think it can certainly help people reflect on it!

Yah, I think it is normal to feel a bit awkward once you noticed someone unfollowed you. It's a fine line between taking it personal or rational. I remember feeling awkward the first time too, but then again it's just numbers as everyone can still interact without following.

When I decluttered my feed I didn't even thought about how it may be perceived by some. Just because I knew that it is nothing personal from my side. But the others do not know. So I thought it might be a good question to ask and to see what others think about this topic.
