Hello dCity players and any interested party not yet playing! Summer is moving along, we just had the Full Sturgeon Moon and everyone is getting excited for more regular HIVE pumps - even as BTC is doing its sideways dance.
Last we met up I was talking about giving some time to make some decisions about ARMERO with the new changes. Well that time has come and gone, and you all may have noticed that ARMERO divs do continue - and they will continue into the future. Its not quite as automatic as before, but we will get into that below...
The new meta game
So much has changed already, and we get the feeling gerber still has a lot on his mind. But a new metagame is coming into view - players must be in the 'Top 400' of INCOME to claim daily citizen drops, so getting there is one of the most important things you can do. And the easiest way is - HP delegation.
As you can see above, top 400 is not that hard to get, just 11/12 tax rebate and you are in! If you delegate 1000 HP to @dcityrewards, you'll get your 12 young citizens in 12 days. Remember of course that you'll need cards producing at least 12 income to do so, but then you can activate your discord account by claiming a new citizen daily as well. I think there must be a viable tiny city where this becomes a HUGE apr for small players. Maybe I'll attempt to calculate that in a future post, but honestly multiple discord accounts is a bridge too far for me so already this meta is proving a bit resistant.
Ranking rewards in SIM
So much concern was felt on my end for our ARMERO project with the switch in ranking rewards. Our SIM holdings (in the LP) are earning HIVE, but nothing like the ranking rewards we were pulling down before. We are still getting HIVE drips of over 2 HIVE per day and growing, but at this rate it would give us a div about once per month, a paltry 5% apr that doesn't seem like it would be that attractive to all our holders out there.
But the good news is, these SIM ranking rewards are actually sitting at nearly double the previous ones, in HIVE terms. If we are willing to sell, we could be hitting 40-50% apr, shelling out divs twice per week or more. The only challenge is we might destroy the game in the process, dumping the SIM price off a cliff and perhaps activating a death spiral until divs are the same or even worse than they were before.
Of course one of the stated reasons behind the ARMERO project was to grow our LP holdings, expanding our capital while paying out divs, and helping to stabilize the game. And we have done that - reaching, so far, the number 8 spot for liquidity providers and now gunning for the higher accounts/amounts. As you can see, its all famous names from here on up:
So it falls to me to do this manually, continue to expand our LP pool, as well as keep an eye to approximately weekly divs, keeping everyone happy and continuing to grow our position into a long-term behemoth that can continue to dominate this wonderfully fun mathematical game.
In a bit more than 3 months, we will reach the 1 year anniversary of ARMERO/LABFUND, a clever initiative to create a long-term dCity derivative where investors can get returns without playing or worrying about rule changes at all, leaving that all to me. I think we have succeeded, but I will definitely be doing a year in review nearer to the end of the year. I am quite happy about how its going, although a lot might depend on 'what @gerber changes next'.
What's ARMERO worth?
According to everything at the moment of posting, including our city values, SIM on hand and LP pool positioning, the ARMERO sanitorium project has 28582 HIVE of value over 84,923 tokens outstanding, giving us an estimated asset-backed value per token of 0.336 HIVE per ARMERO.
WOW!
If we target 52 divs per year (once per week), this represents 14.8% apr. But on the market at the time of writing you can pick up ARMERO on the market for just 0.28 HIVE each, yielding an estimated apr of 17.8% - not too shabby! Remember, all of these numbers are bound to fluxtuate with SIM price in HIVE, and we continue to grow the capital positioning, at least with respect to the in-game economy.
One last point, the @armero account still has just over 15k tokens, at this point I see no reason to expand over 100k total, although I reserve the right to do so if the situation calls for it; we are sitting well and may close new minting at any time we see fit. We have come a long way in just shy of 9 months, and things look bright for the future.
As an additional caveat, none of this should be construed as financial advice, with an upcoming bull run that should hopefully visit HIVE, all of these numbers could go to heck in a handbasket really quick. This is just a numbers update for those that already hold ARMERO token, and not an inducement to FOMO into the token.

I always forget about the claim in discord ^^, but what do we gain by delegating HP to dcityrewards?
Each 1000 HP delegated nets 1 young citizen per day, and each 200 HP delegated gets a 'lottery ticket' for a daily Influencer citizen raffle. Additionally, there are some SIM rewards, approximately 7% apr right now.
These rewards are subject to change, right now in SIM club discussion channel, there is some debate to replace the 7% SIM apr with a second Young Citizen daily, meaning it would be every 500 HP delegated, get 1 Young Citizen daily, and no SIM rewards. I don't know how fast this change might be debated, voted on and implemented, but it is in the discussion.
The curation rewards on the account are used to buy SIM on the market.
