black tears

Buenas noches. Pintar lagrimas siempre me ha gustado ya sea lagrimas comunes, de sangre, coloridas y negras, hoy decidí hacer lagrimas negras en un retrato bastante de cerca donde intente detallar cada parte del rostro, para mi las lagrimas negras normalmente suelen representar un poco de ese dolor u oscuridad que tenemos dentro siendo drenada, el resultado de este retrato me gusto mucho aunque me siento un poco incomoda con la zona de la frente, no logré descifrar que es lo que no me gusta exactamente, aun asi disfrute mucho pintándolo. Espero que les guste.

Good evening.
I've always loved painting tears, whether they're common tears, blood tears, colorful tears, or black tears. Today I decided to do black tears in a fairly close-up portrait where I tried to detail each part of the face. For me, black tears usually represent a bit of that pain or darkness we have inside being drained. I really liked the result of this portrait, although I feel a little uncomfortable with the forehead area. I couldn't figure out exactly what it is I don't like, but I still really enjoyed painting it. I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Realice el boceto y comencé a pintar esta vez utilizando tonos piel desaturados y cálidos, en una nueva capa agregue mas colores para guiarme mejor y comenzar a mezclar dejando una piel con textura suave. Luego pinte las lagrimas negras cayendo hacia el lado izquierdo.

I made the sketch and began painting, this time using warm, desaturated skin tones. On a new layer, I added more colors to better guide me and begin blending, leaving the skin with a soft texture. Then I painted the black tears falling to the left side.

Luego empecé a pintar el cabello, el cual fue bastante sencillo ya que no es casi visible, tambien pinte las cejas y pestañas y luego agregue algunas zonas rojizas en las ojeras, mejillas e intensifique un poco mas el color de los labios. Finalice agregando algunos puntos de luz para resaltar los ojos, nariz y pomulos.

Next, I started painting the hair, which was fairly simple since it's barely visible. I also painted the eyebrows and eyelashes, then added some reddish areas under the eyes and cheeks, and intensified the lip color a bit more. I finished by adding some highlights to highlight the eyes, nose, and cheekbones.
