Fresh-Picked Hero: Grape Juice
I wanted to share another artwork I've done involving one of the funniest characters in the world of anime. From the hit anime series My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero) , Mineta is a student in UA High School who trains to become a pro-hero.
His notable appearance comes from his round curly hair which looks like bunch of clumped together grapes. These ball shaped lumps is also the source of his quirk called Pop Off
Art is done using my Ipad app's procreate using variety of tools like pencil, pen, brush, paintbrush and airbrush. See below's complete art progression.
Funny Perv
While Mineta Minoru is often cowardly and easily frightened, his unique personality comes from being a pervert often ogling on girls and having lewd ideas pop out of nowhere. His desire for women drives his motivation in becoming a pro hero
Quirk
Pop off - allows him to pick out his ball clumps of hair and using it as projectile. These projectiles can bind itself to another object causing immobility or in certain situations allow him to use this objects as a trampoline allowing him to bounce from one location to another.
Power Move
Grape Rush - Mineta unleashes a barrage of grape balls locking and immobilizing enemies in his path. Launching a huge amount of this objects also gives him the ability to trap foes in between objects.
