Willem Haenraets was an impressionist painter, born in Heerlen, the Netherlands, on October 9th 1940. His interest in drawing and painting emerged at an early age.
It is very difficult to convey in words extraordinary lightness and delicate colours of Willem's works. His works are not just pictures. It is a mood, a dream, a feeling of flight and fabulous beauty of the surrounding world.
