Happy Friday!

Today I painted a Lovebird, because I like a lot birds, and this beautiful creature is one of my favorites. I used a Mixed technique, watercolor with crayons.

This drawing was made it with:

• HB Pencil

• Watercolors

• Prismacolor color pencils

• Rapidograph 0.1

• Over a Moleskine sketchbook (size: 26 x 21 cm / 10.23 x8.25 inches)

Hoy dibujé un Agapornis, porque me encantan las aves, y esta hermosa criatura es una de mis favoritas. Usé una técnica mixta, acuarelas y creyones.

Este dibujo fue realizado con:

• Lápiz HB

• Acuarelas

• Lápices de colores Prismacolor

• Pinceles

• Rapidograph 0.1

• Sobre un cuaderno de bocetos Moleskine (tamaño: 26 x 21 cm / 10.23 x8.25 pulgadas)

Process || Proceso:

First I make a sketch in pencil.

Primero hago un boceto a lápiz.

Then I start to paint with watercolor, I make the color mixtures on a plastic palette, and then I apply it on the drawing.

Luego comienzo a pintar con la acuarela, las mezclas de colores las hago sobre una paleta de plástico y luego la aplico sobre el dibujo.

I wait that each layer dries separately, it should be noted that this paper is not ideal for watercolors, its weight is very low.

Espero que cada capa seque por separado, cabe destacar que este papel no es el ideal para acuarelas, su gramaje es muy bajo.

After I am satisfied with the base of the colors I apply the colored pencils on the dark areas.

Después de que me siento conforme con la base de los colores aplico los lápices de colores sobre las áreas oscuras.
