Hello to all my friends.
Wandering through Hive I saw #dailydrawingchallenge and it intrigued me a lot.
Since the idea is very original and encourages people to participate in the challenge every day by recommending the daily theme to follow, I thought I'd start too.
I'm absolutely not an artist but I like to doodle and color to relax and I usually draw through "doodling".
So for my 1st entry that foresees the City, today 9 July 2020, I scribbled the eternal city Rome.
I started from the writing on which then the whole drawing will rest, at least the idea in my mind would be that.
Continuing with the most famous monuments such as the Colosseum and a piece of Roman aqueduct, but also the bust of an emperor.
When I finished drawing I started coloring with pastel tones, mainly using yellow to recall antiquity a little.
And that's the end result.
My vision of Rome scribbled. There is a bit of everything that I believe characterizes it, from the cats that crowd the city to the Italian Vespa used a lot during the Roman Dolce Vita of the 60s and the symbol of Rome: the she-wolf suckling Romulus and Remus according to the tradition of the birth of the city.

Just like the saying goes "Rome was not built in a day". Same does this work wa not drawn all of a sudden. Nice concept.
