I update them quickly; I had been absent for various reasons, the internet more than anything, also for my mother and her medical issues (treatment, exams, etc.)... as I have said before in my posts, she has cancer and we are in that fight, sometimes overwhelming but that we continue with great hope and with love. At the moment she is fine but according to the results of the tests it is time to continue with chemotherapy. My mom says to stay calm, that at first the situation was more difficult, that we will know how to handle things as we have done for more than a year. I'm sure of it 🤗😊🌅💓
Well, I'm posting again and today I want to share a GIF that I made with the process of working on my self-portrait. It is the image that I use as a profile for almost all my networks. It is an illustration made with rapidographs in my sketchbook, the truth is a very good material that greatly facilitates when making illustrations, drawings and especially portraits. It is excellent for giving details and delineating contours.
The style of this Illustration has a tendency towards the comic technique, but I did not do it with that intention, I just wanted to make a self-portrait with ink and it turned out like this. I really liked what I achieved and also photographed the whole process, here are the photos I used for the stop motion video that I turned into a GIF. I really enjoyed this work, I hope you do too 🤓😊

Bueno, estoy volviendo a publicar y es que hoy les quiero compartir un GIF que hice con el proceso de trabajo de mi autoretrato. Es la imagen que uso de perfíl para casi todas mis redes. Es una ilustración elaborada con rapidografs en mi cuaderno de dibujo, la verdad es un material muy bueno que facilita enormemente al momento de hacer ilustraciones, dibujos y sobre todo retratos. Es excelente para dar detalles y delinear contornos.
El estilo de esta Ilustración tiene una tendencia hacia la técnica del cómic, pero no lo hice con esa intención, solo quería hacerme un autoretrato con tinta y resultó así. Me gustó mucho lo que logré y además fotografié todo el proceso, aquí están las fotos que usé para el vídeo en stop motion que convertí en GIF. Disfruté un montón este trabajo, espero ustedes también lo hagan 🤓😊

Con respecto a tu comentario de las sombras, sí, efectivamente; no es muy sencillo lograr sombras sutiles con este tipo de material pero el truco está es tener un rapidograf de punta muy fina y luego ir de apoco haciendo el tramado con una leve presión pero el material ayuda muchísimo si es el adecuado 😊🤓✌️
