Working on my digital art, these are part of my daily drawing practices. Today they are focused on basic elements of digital art, they are simple and structured practices with concepts and basic components of drawing that I have learned during this time.
Trabajando en mi arte digital, estas son parte de mis prácticas diarias de dibujo. Estas están centradas hoy en elementos básicos del arte digital, son prácticas simples y estructuradas con conceptos y componentes básicos del dibujo que he aprendido durante este tiempo.
Test of the brush I will be using, the drawing app I will be working with is Ibis Paint. I will also explore a bit how to create light and dark areas using lines. I like this brush because it emulates the texture of graphite on a rough sheet.
Prueba del pincel que estaré usando, la aplicación de dibujo en la que estaré trabajando es Ibis Paint. Además, exploraré un poco crear zonas de luz y oscuridad con líneas. Este pincel me gusta porque emula la textura del grafito sobre una hoja rugosa.
I also did some practice and exploration of volumes in geometric figures. It is sometimes difficult to stop thinking only in terms of the plane when we are drawing and to find volumes. These exercises are somewhat tedious and boring but very important.
También hice unas prácticas y exploración de volúmenes en figuras geométricas. Es a veces difícil dejar de pensar solo en el plano cuando estamos dibujando y encontrar volúmenes. Estos ejercicios son algo tediosos y aburridos pero muy importantes.
Exploring shapes and volumes is difficult in itself, but it is even more difficult to compose new forms with already known structures. Here I tried to fit two cubes together to obtain a different shape. I have to keep practicing these exercises because I find them difficult and I face challenges.
De por sí explorar las formas y volúmenes es difícil, pero más difícil es componer nuevas formas con las estructuras ya conocidas. Aquí traté de encajar dos cubos para obtener una forma distinta. Tengo que seguir practicando estos ejercicios ya que los encuentro difíciles y presento dificultades.
The next step is to practice what I have learned by drawing something real, this time an apple. Typical, but it fulfills exactly what I want. First I fit the general shapes, then I apply a bit of light and shadow with a line hatching, and this was the result. I liked it quite a lot.
Lo siguiente es practicar lo aprendido, dibujando algo real, esta vez una manzana. Típico, pero cumple exactamente con lo que quiero. Primero encajé las formas generales, apliqué un poco de luces y sombras con un tramado de líneas, y este fue el resultado. Me gustó bastante.
Here is the apple from closer, I tried to create lights and shadows using colors as well.

I finished my practice today by creating a sketch for a drawing that I will do later and share here. I hope you like it and that today’s practice is useful. Thank you for accompanying me one more day of drawing.
