I decided to do the "Art Style Challenge" after a long time, it was a challenge that I saw many artists doing, including my favorites, but I never had the courage to do it. This challenge consists of making a drawing, it can be of some original character or any other drawing, in different art styles. These drawing styles can be taken from animated series, anime, different artists' own styles or others, the goal is to recreate different art styles and see how different your art looks in those styles.

Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! I bring to the table another new drawing for this amazing challenge, this time I did my character Lester in "The Fairly OddParents" art style. I can't tell you how much I'm enjoying doing this art challenge, I'm getting so out of my comfort zone, but that hasn't been a problem to keep exploring different drawing styles.

Traigo a la mesa otro nuevo dibujo para este increíble reto, esta vez hice mi personaje Lester al estilo de arte de "Los Padrinos Mágicos". No saben cuanto estoy disfrutando hacer este desafió de arte, estoy saliendo tanto de mi zona de confort, pero eso no ha sido problema para seguir explorando distintos estilos de dibujo.

I started making the sketch, based on some references of the original characters, in order to analyze their proportions and see how to analyze or how to integrate the anatomy in this style. What caught my attention was the fact that the head is of an extremely large proportion and the body is small, so taking this into account, I made my character inspired by everything mentioned above and seen.

Lo que mas llamo mi atención fue el hecho de que la cabeza es de una proporción sumamente grande y el cuerpo pequeño, así que tomando en cuanta esto, hice mi personaje inspirándome en todo lo antes mencionado y visto.

When I had the sketch done, I went to work the color throughout the drawing. Note that in this particular style of art, they handle very flat color palettes, that is; only base colors and no shadows, a very 2D style of drawing, but very striking in terms of color and line art work. My color palette I worked it not so saturated, as usual, since that's the way I usually use my color palettes. Using a single marker brush to apply the color.
Cuando tuve el boceto hecho, me fui a trabajar el color en todo el dibujo. Note que en este estilo de arte en concreto, manejan paletas de color muy planas, es decir; solo colores base y sin sombras, un estilo de dibujo muy 2D, pero muy llamativo en cuanto al color y el trabajo de line art. Mi paleta de color la trabaje no tan saturada, como siempre, ya que es la forma en que yo suelo usar mis paletas de color. Usando un único pincel de marcador para aplicar el color.

Once the color work was done, the whole illustration was really finished. It was an illustration that didn't take me a lot of time, but I really enjoyed doing it.
Una vez hecho el trabajo de color, realmente estaría toda la ilustración terminada. Fue una ilustración que no me tomo mucho tiempo, pero a que su vez disfrute mucho haciéndola.
