Hi Hivers!!!! Im from Philippines I just want you to share my portrait artwork. It was done by freehand. I love drawing faces.The story behind my artwork is that my subject is a Lumad tribe(Higaonon) here in the Philippines. An indigenous people that live in on the mountain with rich in traditions and cultures.The local government gives them importance and has their own power and law called the IPRA Law.With these authority it molds them to participate in many activities like politics ,education and etc. For your information, the one I portrayed was a former Barangay Captain of Casisang Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, Philippines. I took the opportunity to drew it.The Lumad were using vibrant colors.That is why their tribe is so colorful and attractive to some tourist.I hope you are enjoying It.
