Tuberose flower (Polianthes tuberosa) is a perennial green plant from the Asmat tribe. One part of this flower is that its oil is usually used as a raw material for making perfumes. tuberosa pinned on the name of this flower indicates that this plant has a tuber (tuber).
Tuberose flowers usually bloom at night. This plant has a different name in each country, for example, in Indonesia this flower ia called Bunga Sedap Malam, the Astek people know it by the name omixochitl which means bone flower.
In eastern India this flower is called ratkirani, which means "queen of the night". In Persian, this flower is called maryam, which in common language means daughter etc. The aroma and fragrance of tuberose flowers are very distinctive, sweet and exotic.
This tuberose flower grows up to 45 cm. The leaves are long and light green in color which collects at the base of the stem.
