Thank you for this introduction to a poet who is no doubt unknown to many of us. Your description is fascinating. It reminds me of how many unsung creators have contributed to the development of literature (and art) over the centuries. While we do not know the names of these creators, their influence has been subtly woven into what is accepted today as literature.

Lautréamont is central to the development of modern literature (and contemporary, consequently), for without its work certain writers would hardly have done what they did later. I confess to being a fighter against forgetfulness and literary mediocrity. Greetings.
