Yo por aquí ando muy feliz y complacida de compartirles lo que fue mi día de hoy, un día especial, divertido y super relajante. Hoy nos fuimos de paseo al campo de mis papás, con principal motivo de festejarle el cumpleaños 56 de mi papá, nos fuimos casi todos, mis hermanos, sobrinos, cuñado, mi amiga y mi mamá.
I am very happy and pleased to share with you what my day was like today, a special, fun and super relaxing day. Today we went on a trip to my parents' country, with the main reason of celebrating my dad's 56th birthday, almost all of us went, my brothers, nephews, brother in law, my friend and my mom.
Yo por supuesto no desaproveche ni un momento del día para tomar muchas fotos, con único objetivo de contarles mi día y mi experiencia.
I, of course, did not waste a moment of the day to take lots of pictures, with the sole purpose of telling you about my day and my experience.
Todos la pasamos bien, nos reímos bastante, mis sobrinos supieron disfrutar su paseo jugando y bañándose, que bonita es la infancia y hay que dejar que ellos la disfruten al máximo.
We all had a good time, we laughed a lot, my nephews knew how to enjoy their ride playing and bathing, how beautiful childhood is and we have to let them enjoy it to the fullest.
Preparamos un riquísimo almuerzo, que a todos nos fascina "Cachapa" para los que no saben que es, se trata de algo así como una tortilla pero de maíz verde que se prepara semi dulce y a la plancha, nosotros cosechamos el maíz del patio de la casa, la preparamos en fogón y la servimos con carne mechada y queso guayanés, una delicia.
We prepared a delicious lunch, which we all love "Cachapa" for those who do not know what it is, it is something like a tortilla but of green corn that is prepared semi sweet and grilled, we harvest the corn from the backyard of the house, we prepare it on the stove and serve it with shredded meat and cheese guayanés, a delight.
Luego de comer y reposar, decidimos irnos caminando hasta un río que está cerca de la casa, un río que conocemos de toda la vida pero que hace bastante tiempo no visitabamos, y que felicidad poder volver a ir a ese hermoso lugar.
After eating and resting, we decided to walk to a river that is close to the house, a river that we have known all our lives but that we had not visited for a long time, and what a happiness to be able to go to this beautiful place again.
Compartimos un buen rato a la orilla del antes mencionado, hasta que nos preparamos para regresar a la casa y así poder cantarle cumpleaños a mi papá, degustamos de la rica torta y luego regresamos al pueblo, dónde en el camino pude apreciar de un bellísimo atardecer.
We shared a good time on the shore of the aforementioned river, until we got ready to return to the house so we could sing birthday to my dad, we tasted the delicious cake and then we returned to the village, where on the way I could appreciate a beautiful sunset.
Amigos, pasar tiempo con la familia es lo más satisfactorio que existe.
