Walking out of a big city like Genoa and feeling the calmness coming back little by little has something magical.
16km from Genoa, on the seaside, I met Fulvio who was playing the hand drum during the twilight.
I offered him this watercolor made following the rhythm of his performance and the changes of light.
I took the road again in search of a camp for this night.
The coast near Genoa is very privatized and I had to walk a few more hours after sunset, to find a place for the night, at the entrance of Recco.
I waited for the end of the water polo training which took place under my eyes, to be able to put my camp.
I took advantage of the show in front of me tonstart a watercolor and depict the scene :
At this point, I had set up the composition and color scheme, with the intention of accentuating the saturated colors and light of the swimming pool, as opposed to the dark colors of the sea.
Then I tried to make it work , adding the water-polo players, coach and boats to finalize de painting.

Salir de una gran ciudad como Génova y sentir la calma volver poco a poco es algo mágico.
A 16 km de Génova, junto al mar, me encontré con Fulvio, que tocaba el hand drum al anochecer.
Le ofrecí esta acuarela hecha al ritmo de su actuación y de los cambios de luz.
Salí de nuevo en busca de un campamento para pasar la noche.
La costa cerca de Génova está muy privatizada y tuve que caminar unas horas más después de la puesta de sol, para encontrar un refugio improvisado, a la entrada de Recco.
Esperé el final del entrenamiento de waterpolo, que tuvo lugar bajo mis ojos, para poder instalar mi campamento.
Aproveché el espectáculo que tenía delante y saqué mis acuarelas:
En este punto había establecido la composición y el esquema de color, con la intención de acentuar los colores saturados y la luz del parque acuático, frente a los colores oscuros del mar.
Sólo faltaba añadir los jugadores de waterpolo y los últimos detalles de la escena.

Uscire da una grande città come Genova e sentire la calma che torna a poco a poco è qualcosa di magico.
A 16 km da Genova, in riva al mare, ho incontrato Fulvio che al tramonto suonava il hand drum.
Gli ho offerto questo acquerello realizzato al ritmo della sua performance e dei cambiamenti di luce.
Sono ripartito alla ricerca di un campo per la notte.
La costa vicino a Genova è molto privatizzata e ho dovuto camminare ancora qualche ora dopo il tramonto, per trovare un riparo di fortuna, all'ingresso di Recco.
Ho aspettato la fine dell'allenamento di pallanuoto che si svolgeva sotto i miei occhi per potere allestire il mio campo.
Ho approfittato dello spettacolo che avevo davanti e ho tirato fuori i miei acquerelli:
A questo punto ho impostato la composizione e lo schema cromatico, con l'intenzione di accentuare i colori saturi e la luce del parco acquatico, in contrasto con i colori scuri del mare.
Poi ho cercato di farlo funzionare, aggiungendo i giocatori di pallanuoto, l'allenatore e la barca per completare il dipinto.

Sortir en marchant d'une grande agglomération tel que Gênes et ressentir le Calme revenir petit à petit a quelque chose de magique.
A 16km de Gênes, en bord de mer, je rencontrais Fulvio qui jouait du hand drum pendant le crépuscule.
Je lui offris cette aquarelle réalisée au rythme de sa performance et des changements de lumière.
Je repris la route à la recherche d'un campement pour cette nuit.
La côte près de Gênes est très privatisée et je dus marcher encore quelques heures après le coucher du soleil, pour trouver un abri de fortune, à l'entrée de Recco.
J'attendis la fin de l'entraînement de water-polo qui avait lieu sous mes yeux, pour pouvoir poser mon campement.
Je profitais du spectacle qui se donnait devant moi et sortis mes aquarelles:
A ce stade, j'avais mis en place la composition et la gamme chromatique, avec l'intention d'accentuer les couleurs saturées et la lumière du parc nautique, par opposition aux couleurs sombres de la mer.
Il ne me restait plus qu'à ajouter les joueurs de water-polo et les derniers détails de la scène.
