Let's wash our hands!
I too, like most of the inhabitants of the planet, have been infected by the disturbing news of COVID-19. I confess that most of my students get screwed, unlike my colleagues and families. For the young people of my city it is a problem like any other, which is resolved with time in a natural way.
The boys approach the Coronavirus problem very lightly. They are already annoyed and worried by other more important events, global warming and extinctions of living species.
So the problem is a very relevant social phenomenon which confirms the inadequacy of the world that we are leaving to future generations. Young people are much more attentive and sensitive to environmental issues: global warming, the melting of glaciers, the daily extinction of hundreds of living species, pollution and more.
For the new generation, COVID-19 is little or nothing, what matters is the protection of other forms of life. It seems that the virus leaves children alone and takes it out on adults and the elderly!
In a classroom debate, before painting, one of my pupils made a singular reasoning shared by other peers: he said that this virus will lead to a natural selection of a third of the planet's population, helping to give respiratory benefits to the Land.
Not bad for reasoning.
Other observations were related to the significant drop in fine dust pollution in the metropolis improving air quality.
This is also true. Another important aspect that we discussed was related to the globalization of the world. Communication systems, technologies, rapid transport all over the planet and equally rapid spread of the virus.
The virus is globalized like the planet.
We realized that the phenomenon of globalization is a theoretical model that does not hold up for long. Everything becomes everyone's in a short time, and a simple flu virus can undermine a world system.
The most obvious result is the increase in the individual's condition of emotional weakness in the face of the unknown, an anxiety-provoking state that is more contagious than the virus epidemic.

We are vulnerable and simply passing through on Earth. An invisible danger that has already brought the Chinese, Italian, Korean and Iranian economy to its knees.
Are we at the beginning?
I don't know and I don't want to know, my pupils tell me to be calm and that we have to globalize calm and serenity in facing the problem. Meanwhile, only pharmaceutical multinationals make billions in this story!
Will Earth take revenge?
This too will be difficult to predict because I believe that when all the chaos has passed we will start polluting and destroying everything again.

Ciao a tutti cari amici e ben tornati sul mio blog.
Anch'io, come buona parte degli abitanti del pianeta sono stato contagiato dalle preoccupanti notizie del COVID-19.
Confesso che la maggioranza dei miei studenti se ne fotte, al contrario dei miei colleghi e delle famiglie.
Per i giovani della mia città è un problema come un altro, che si risolve con il tempo in modo naturale.
I ragazzi affrontano il problema del Coronavirus con molta leggerezza.
Sono già infastiditi e preoccupati da altri eventi più importanti, global warming ed estinzioni delle specie viventi.
Quindi il problema è un fenomeno sociale molto rilevante che conferma l'inadeguatezza del mondo che stiamo lasciando alle future generazioni.
I giovani sono molto più attenti e sensibili ai temi ambientali: il riscaldamento globale, lo scioglimento dei ghiacciai, l'estinzione giornaliera di centinaia di specie viventi, l'inquinamento e altro ancora.
Per la nuova generazione il COVID-19 è poco o niente, quello che conta è la salvaguardia di altre forme di vita.
Sembra che il virus lasci in pace i ragazzi e se la prenda con gli adulti e gli anziani!
In un dibattito in aula, prima di dipingere, un mio alunno ha fatto un ragionamento singolare e condiviso da altri suoi coetanei: ha affermato che questo virus porterà ad una selezione naturale di un terzo della popolazione del pianeta, contribuendo a dare dei benefici respiratori alla Terra.
Non male come ragionamento.
Altre osservazioni sono state inerenti al calo significativo dell'inquinamento da polveri sottili nelle metropoli migliorando la qualità dell'aria.
Vero anche questo.
Un altro aspetto importante di cui abbiamo discusso è stato quello legato alla globalizzazione del mondo.
Sistemi di comunicazione, tecnologie, trasporti rapidi in tutto il pianeta e diffusione altrettanto repentina del virus.
Il virus è globalizzato come il pianeta.
Ci siamo resi conto che il fenomeno della globalizzazione è un modello teorico che non regge a lungo.
Tutto diventa di tutti nel giro di poco tempo, ed un semplice virus influenzale può mettere in crisi un sistema mondiale.
Il risultato più evidente è l'aumento della condizione di debolezza emotiva dell'individuo di fronte all'ignoto, uno stato ansiogeno che è più contagioso dell'epidemia del virus.
Siamo vulnerabili e semplicemente di passaggio sulla Terra.
Un pericolo invisibile che ha già messo in ginocchio l'economia cinese, italiana, coreana e iraniana.
Siamo all'inizio?
Non lo so e non lo voglio sapere, i miei alunni mi dicono di stare tranquillo e che dobbiamo globalizzare la calma e la serenità nell'affrontare il problema.
Intanto in questa storia guadagnano miliardi solo le multinazionali farmaceutiche!
La Terra si prenderà la sua rivincita?
Anche questo sarà difficle da pronosticare perchè credo che quando tutto il caos sarà passato ricominceremo ad inquinare e a distruggere tutto.
