How the STEEM MACHINE can Drive us to Self-Improvement Through Community Engagement
Hello world, I am writing this to share with you one of the most valuable things in my life. This thing that I am writing about, is much more than just a lifeless noun. In fact, this thing is very much alive.
It is a living machine. If you put the right things into it, you will find that good things will come out. The good things that come out of it, can be life changing. If you feed the machine, it will feed you. The nutrients derived are not necessarily for your body (although, you surely can find some things in the machine to help that, too.) Instead, the benefits come through the empowerment of knowledge and the fortitude found in positive thinking.
Each one of the machine's parts has it's own role. This is because it's parts are a sea of unique and valuable members. All of the members have their own special usefulness and expertise. They all put their own things into the machine, and they also get something good out of it, just like we do and just like YOU, CAN.
The machine that I am referencing, is built from the members of a community. I titled this post, "The Pistons," because those members are what turn the gears. The engine, itself, is of the fuel-injection class. So, what is the fuel, and who are the members??
The members, are the good people of the STEEM community. STEEM, is a social media platform that is built on the underlying value of it's content. Each member of the community spends time in their life, learning about anything and everything in their own life. Those life experiences, are the fuel that they will inject into the STEEM machine. The new content that the members contribute is injected into the platform. The readers, do just what readers do, read and engage.
That engagement and sharing of knowledge, is the spark that ignites the payload and drives the STEEM machine forward, along with all of the members of it's community.
There are countless testimonies that can be found, here on the STEEM platform, about how this, STEEM machine, has positively affected their lives. I am one of them, and so is my girl @audiefaith.
There are people from all walks of life that have benefited greatly from this community. Whether they came from a life of wealth, or a life in squalor, people connect here and learn from one another.
This is a truth, that I have often spoken, in good times and in bad:
To each man/woman, another man/woman is a teacher and an expert in a type of knowledge, from whom he/she can learn. The one who is a journeyman is also an expert in another type of knowledge, from which his/her teacher can learn. Humility, is the beginning of wisdom.
The following is a relative quote from one of my recent posts, that fits the same theme of thinking:
Knowledge is power. Power is liberating. Liberation is the ground on which the pursuit of happiness is built, and success is the goal of it's end-game.
You see, here on STEEM, we LEARN. Together, we increase our knowledge. We work, we do whatever we each do in life, and then we return (with new fuel) to share it with others. We help each other when we are down, and we learn from the advice that we receive. We celebrate together when we triumph over the obstacles in life, and we enjoy the little things that make life great, together.

There are so many diverse people here and so much incredible content. Travel, food, philosophy, finance, lifestyles, natural medicine, mechanics, technology, investing, love, animals, relationships, YOU NAME IT! IT'S HERE!!!
