Life after school can be anything at all, but majority has everything to do with life before graduation, like the saying goes, it's how you make your bed you lay on it. After graduation is something most students look forward to,
The ideology the younger ones have about this is unreal, some see independence, freedom, while others see opportunities but in the real life you get all this but the whole freedom, independence and opportunities comes at a cost.
Sorry to bust your bubbles there, but it's just life for you.

Take two characters for example, Dayo and Kola both graduated from the higher institution, as course mates, they will always fantasies and talk about the things they will do after graduation and service. Dayo would imagine working in a big firm and climb his way to the top through hard work probably start by securing a Job of at least 100k monthly bla bla bla and kola would fantasies on how he would grow his little design hub into a multi national agency.
fast forward almost 5 years after both are out of school with Dayo working as a supervisor and receiving nothing he planed on making monthly, while Kola is an Entrepreneur somewhere in the City now married with a car and house of his own So what happened to all those fantasies and dreams?
Nothing really happened, they just experienced life and grew up.
Dayo wanted a good paying job, but never knew companies are not looking for graduates, it is graduates looking for companies. (If you know, you know).

Dayo wanted a good paying job, all he came across were entrepreneurs with small companies who wanted him to do the job of five people for the pay of half a person he wanted at least 100k monthly as compensation for all the struggles of schooling in Nigeria, all he got were companies negotiating 25k - 30k and some considering the certificate would add an extra 5k, it will take another years of experience to attain such position Then it was clear that the only opportunities that life presented was freedom of choice.
Regardless of who they were it was time to unlearn certain things and "grow up" . You read me well "grow up" because immediately Dayo came out of service, everything changed. Mummy and Daddy now say it's high time to start contributing to the family. Waking up at 7:30 became an abormination as a matter of fact life with parents became hell. Eating in the house now feels wrong because you didn't buy the food.
He was busy walking round the city looking for a company that will employ him at that point it became clear that in those days a man will have to leave his father and mother when it is time to find a wife, but now you better do so while you are still in school......
Now what about Kola who started working early? He became better at what he did and had been aquinted with a reasonable amount of funs that would be enough to feed himself, his family, and even love ones.
after school He focused on growing his brand while others are trying to start up waking up every morning to be called a young CEO. With all this story, am only trying to pass a message!!!
