RE: LOFI - What is LoFi Music and why does it work so well for concentrated studying and learning

in OCD4 years ago

We would love to hear if it worked, for your comment it did for sure :D! For us it works good with Lo-Fi. There are not too much ups and downs in the music so its not so distracting. Me personally, I can't focus very good when there is singing in the music. Insturmental is mostly okay.
And you are totally right, especially with some sounds like a soft crackle it feels more organic. :) Thats why I last year got a second hand record player :D
Have a good day!

Still need to test. Yesterday got something done while listening to an album by Joel Mull, but I'm missing so many layers in the music too when I listen without doing anything else. Anyways moved the post to a prominent spot in the open tab section of my browser so I can do the test tomorrow: Work whilst listening :)

Cool, hope it works for you and it makes work more fun :)

I love to hear that people are buying old record players. I am a 70's kid and remember my first one that my parents bought for my birthday. It was battery powered, I even took it on holiday with me. I don't own one now though!

Cool, yeah it just has a different feeling than Spotify and so. And I love to go shopping for records on second hand markets :D

That’s music to my ears, if you pardon the pun!
