Después de estudiar y aprender sobre criptomonedas, regreso a una de las actividades que más me apasiona: escribir. Y qué genial que exista una plataforma en la que tengamos un espacio para hacerlo sin salir de la blockchain.
Hello, community! My name is Miguel Angel, I'm Venezuelan and I'm 30 years old. After studying and learning about cryptocurrencies, I'm back to one of the activities I'm most passionate about: writing. Nací en Valle de la Pascua, también conocida como “La Princesa del Llano”, en el corazón de Venezuela, el Estado Guárico. Estudié en la E.B. ‘Rafael González Udis’ la educación primaria, que quedaba a pocas cuadras de mi casa y donde me caracterizaba por ser un niño muy introvertido. En la secundaria, estudié en la U.E. Colegio ‘Andrés Bello’, donde comenzaba a retratarse una nueva faceta de mi personalidad, hasta que por “caprichos de la directora” mi mamá decidió cambiarme a otro liceo, la U.E. Colegio ‘Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria’, ya ahí lo introvertido se había disipado mucho más.
I was born in Valle de la Pascua, also known as "The Princess of The Valley", in the heart of Venezuela, Guárico State. I studied at the E.B. 'Rafael Gonzalez Udis' primary education, which was a few blocks from my house and where I was characterized by being a very introverted child. I studied at the U.E. Colegio 'Andrés Bello', where a new facet of my personality began to emerge, until by "whims of the director" my mother decided to move me to another institution, the U.E. Colegio 'Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria', and there the introvert had dissipated much more.

Las artes me llamaron la atención desde la infancia, llené cuadernos donde calcaba, coloreaba y escribía frases. Siento mucha compasión por los animales, por lo que deseaba ser veterinario para atenderlos. Luego cuando descubrí que se podía estudiar a las estrellas ese sueño cambió, pero se desvaneció de tanto escuchar a mi papá decir: “Nos tendrás viendo estrellas del hambre”, así que desistí.
The arts caught my attention since childhood, I filled notebooks where I traced, colored and wrote sentences. I feel a lot of compassion for animals, so I wanted to be a veterinarian to take care of them. Then when I discovered that you could study the stars, that dream changed, but it faded away when I heard my dad say, "You'll have us looking stars by the starvation", so I gave up.

En el 2007, después de culminar el bachillerato fui a pasar las vacaciones a Ciudad Bolívar, Estado Bolívar, donde después del entusiasmo de estar tanto tiempo en otra ciudad y la insistencia de mis primos, me inscribí en la Universidad de Oriente donde cursé en un principio la carrera de Ingeniería de Minas, pero después de varios tropiezos, estudié Geología. Ciudad Bolívar fue una quimera para mí, me gustaría contarles las experiencias que allá viví. Una de ellas fue la primera vez que “me rompió el corazón”, lo cual agradezco porque fue cuando comencé a escribir; al principio por desahogo, luego fui desarrollando un estilo prosa poética hasta que me di cuenta que la poesía me fascinaba. Ahora escribo versos libres, deseando aprender a rimar, para, al final, escribir música.
In 2007, after finishing high school I went to spend the vacations to Ciudad Bolivar, Estado Bolivar, where after the enthusiasm of being so much time in another city and the insistence of my cousins, I enrolled at the Universidad de Oriente where I initially studied Mining Engineering, but after several setbacks, I studied Geology. Ciudad Bolivar was a chimera for me, I would like to tell you about the experiences I had there. One of them was the first time that "she broke my heart", which I am grateful for because that was when I started to write; at first as an outlet, then I developed a poetic prose style until I realized that poetry fascinated me. Now I write free verse, wanting to learn to rhyme, and write music.

Gracias a las salidas de campo de Geología me di cuenta de que me encanta viajar. A donde iba deseaba traer conmigo una foto de los lugares que me gustaban, y esos lugares particularmente era la naturaleza. Hoy en día ella es mi más grande musa, en especial los atardeceres, que tienen una magia que no sé explicar, sólo puedo invitarte a ver uno, especialmente, y como lo hacía casi a diario en Ciudad Bolívar, desde un techo, donde tuve el privilegio de observar espectáculos que antes no había percibido. No sabría explicarlo de una mejor manera sino con algunas de las fotos que he tomado a lo largo de mis años.
Thanks to the Geology field trips I realized that I love to travel. Wherever I went I wanted to bring with me a picture of the places I liked, and those places were particularly nature.Today she is my greatest muse, especially the sunsets, which have a magic that I can not explain, I can only invite you to see one, especially as I did almost daily in Ciudad Bolivar from a roof, where I had the privilege of watching shows that I had not perceived before. I could not explain it in a better way than with some of the photos I have taken over the years.

Entré a un grupo de lectura en el Centro de Arte ‘Utopía’, donde compartí con personas maravillosas y que además me invitaron a intervenir en el ‘Taller de Escritura Creativa’ donde expuse conceptos básicos de la poesía y sobre todo aprendí más de lo que en ese momento estaba enseñando.
I joined a reading group at the Art Center 'Utopia', where I shared with wonderful people and who also invited me to participate in the 'Creative Writing Workshop' where I exposed basic concepts of poetry and above all I learned more than what I was teaching at that time.
Una de mis aficiones más grandes es la música, crecí viendo MTV y me la pasaba golpeando con mis dedos cualquier superficie, sí, la batería es el instrumento que más me gusta. Me uní a la Orquesta de Rock Sinfónico de “El Sistema”, donde aprendí a tocar la batería. He tenido la dicha de tocar en varios events, fue muy emocionante, y sé que algún día lo volveré a hacer. No he dejado de practicar con lápices y libros.
One of my biggest hobbies is music, I grew up watching MTV, and I spent my time tapping my fingers on any surface, yes, drums is the instrument what I like the most. I joined to the Symphonic Rock Orchestra of "El Sistema", where I learned to play the drums. I have had the joy of playing in several events, it was very exciting, and I know that someday I will do it again. I have not stopped practicing with pencils and books.
Y para no darle respiro a los fantasmas, también hice un curso de cocina en la Academia ‘La Zanahoria Gourmet’ donde aprendí diversas técnicas preparando una gran variedad de platos, conocí gente agradable y obtuve el certificado de ‘Ayudante de cocina’.
And to give no respite to the ghosts, I also took a cooking course at the La Zanahoria Gourmet Academy where I learned various techniques preparing a variety of dishes, met nice people and obtained the certificate of 'Kitchen Assistant'.

Luego conocí a mi maestra terapeuta con la que me adentré a más profundidad en la espiritualidad y, al mudarme a Caracas, en el 2018 comencé a estudiar mejor sus artes. Mostré mucho interés por la ‘Cura por la palabra’ y la llevé a otro nivel al combinar la poesía, una práctica que me ha ayudado muchísimo a conocerme y ayudar a otros. Me regaló un matt donde medito y hago yoga para complementar mi crecimiento como humano.
Then I met my master therapist with whom I went deeper into spirituality and, upon moving to Caracas in 2018, I began to study her arts better. I showed a lot of interest in 'Word Healing' and took it to another level by combining it with poetry, a practice that has helped me a lot to know myself and help others. She gifted me with a matt where I meditate and do yoga to complement my growth as a human.
Después de todo ese recorrido, actualmente me dedico a hacer cartografía, utilizando Sistemas de Información Geográfica, que se trata del procesamiento y análisis de datos espaciales del planeta Tierra.
After all that journey, I am currently dedicated to cartography, using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), that it is the processing and analysis of spatial data of the planet Earth.
