Hi everyone, my name is Artem nice to meet you!
As you guessed by the caption above I’m new to Hive community and that’s my introduction post, it’s something of a tradition here, so I decided not to be an exception :)
A Little Bit Of Myself

To avoid mistrust and gain community reliance, I want to be as much transparent as I can with you, so here’s a short brief about me;
I’m 20 years old and currently living in Israel, a small, yet strong country in the Middle East.
The foundation of Israel’s strength, as most of you may know, is the IDF(Israel Defense Forces)which guarantees safeness to our country, in the summer of 2019 I was drafted to the IDF and for now I’m still on my duty service.
In terms of national security, I can’t tell you about my work in the army, but I will give you a hint- it’s related to electronics.
Before the army I was studying electronic engineering for almost 2 years and eventually graduated.
Israel isn’t my homeland, nevertheless, I love Israel from as I remember myself being here, in 2004 I made my way here with my parents from Ukraine, and subsequently we settled here for a long time.
My Hobbies!

From a young age, books were my passion especially history and warfare, those I liked the most, but other interesting topics didn’t pass by, I always adhered to the idea that books are our source of knowledge and it’s important to read them and compile as much information as you can from each one.
Mental growth is important for each person, yet we must not forget about the physical side as well.
At age of 16 I started to change my sight and view on sports, long story short, I made a huge change with my body and lost an impressive number of fats, since then I dedicated myself to a lot of sports, my favorite ones are volleyball and football.
Since I’m from Ukraine and as a lot of you might know that Ukraine is a former USSR country, I know both Russian and Ukrainian languages and the fact that I’m living in Israel for almost my whole life makes me know Hebrew as well, those are my native languages I’m not including English on the list, because in my opinion, I’m not 100% fluent in it, although I know it well.
As you see, I’m really like to learn new languages :)
Between us, I’m planning to learn more in the near future, I think I will choose German for my next language :)
Traveling is one of my favorite hobbies, I love to explore new cultures, people and areas I didn’t see before, it’s impressive that nowadays we can travel almost everywhere we want and almost everyone can afford himself to make it(thanks to globalization).
It’s adorable how something new attracts me to scrutinize it to the bones, I’m always looking for new information and interesting material that I can benefit from and grow mentally, this brings us to the point why I’m here.
Why I’m Here?
My main goal is to share knowledge and experience that I’ve reached being devoted to reading books, articles, and other materials that provide our brain with a vast majority of information.
I’m planning to share facts, information, interesting articles, and more new stuff that you didn’t know about various topics, so if you’re curious and want to know more about our interesting world- it’s the right place!

Hey hey Artem! Welcome to Hive and a great introduction! You're a pretty talented dude and have a great mindset - electronic engineering along with willing to read further books is an awesome sign of intelligence (I'm not just saying that because I love learning something new every day too... although... 😎 haha)!
I see you like travelling as well, hopefully once the world is out of lockdown, there can be more opportunities to travel again! Have you got any places in particular you want to travel to? There's a few travel bloggers around and you may be interested in following @pinmapple and @travelfeed as they share travel content - be good to get some ideas!
I'll introduce myself too - I'm Nicky, I make electronic music (usually Drum & Bass) and getting back in to DJing live shows. Also write travel posts sometimes and a Bluffer's Guide to Hive to help explain some of the workings of the platform in simple language.
