I pass between worlds with the desperate stealth of a criminal condemned already knowing imagining feeling my end accelerating to meet me the ground rising to a falling body this aint no this aint my vehicle i am to borrow the shapes of words coalesce on my tongue and disperse before i can think of uttering them the brilliance tarnished by indecision and the uncertainty of continuity the engine sputters headlights strobe turned off onto a country road to pursue not pursue

Aimless as a trodden path through the wild outskirts and the sun up-comin' to splash wicked contrasts on the grassblades and the dew slidin' down and the clumped-up grassroots in the middle sunbrowned and dessicated from severity of heat and the exhaustion of seasons more days than i have fingers to count, it aint, no i aim to borrow before the light vanishes the acolyte extinguishes the nightcurtain falls inbetween sleepnawareness soundnshapes runtogether laughterechoes

Forgetting to wake, knowing, remembering to slip under the edge of the tide creeping to overtake everything solid and make an ocean of the detritus slipping out of all the world's rubbish bins to spoil in the sun but never finishing until the water comes salty with truth eternal abrasion no fishes no beings no movement no tongue but mine twisted i aint more than light lost in a maze no a labyrinth of geometry's luminous glints glamorous in a stolen vehicle no a borrowed moment no a pittance pilfered from eternity's rusted coffers

I know at least to pass and not succumb, blind to screaming deaf to epileptic entertainment seductive promises visceral moods contrasts made contracts by impassioned amateurs no homunculi no automatons no they are mere figments as i am but decided to strike out opposite and we will scour the surface, search and not find meet at the earth's corner before the flood comes silver tarnishes at the speed of thought and i aint but the beginningless endingless shining of
