The Emperor’s New Clothes is an adventure of art from 1837 written by the Danish and the famous author H.C. Andersen. In this adventure, we are hearing about an emperor who is led to believe that he walks around in clothes in the most beautiful fabrics, while he in reality is just walking around in his underwear.

So, what is the philosophy of this today? H.C. Andersen will learn us that something are told to be better than it really is. And hence, the emperor is going in a wrong perception of reality. We can use this metaphor is different areas, for instance in relationship marketing! Relations are not new in sciences, we have had relations since the very first humans were operating at earth. Therefore, if we are told that we should think in a distinct way, we should ask what it implies and how it implies as it implies. The proof of the pudding is in the eating, and accordingly we can just evaluate how something was just with thinking what you have experienced where you have been!

The adventure about The Emperor’s New Clothes that spent all his money on dressing up. One day, there comes two scammers who say they are weavers, and the emperor pays them for making new clothes. The problem is that he can neither see the new fabric nor the clothes, and the reason is obvious, he is naked. This is about making expectations that are not real, and when you make imaginations and telling about something, you can think that something is better than it really is. One is therefore sitting with the beard in the mailbox. And therefore, you are wise. And this recognition can affect international conferences as well, and all or many of the lectures that you have ever perceived. So, if the quality is not in accordance with your expectations, you have either wrong expectations, or you are perceiving that reality is worser than you have been told and written about with messages to you and me. If conferences and seminars are visvas, you and me could rather be at home than being travelling to another place. The same way of thinking is regarding lectures that are hold at universities and colleges, and these lectures are not new, but they are things and materials that you know from before!

The thinking regarding to the adventure called for The Emperos’s New Clothes is that it often refers to something that does not really exist, or to something that has no proper content or meaning. It also means that one should not take anything for too good fish, but one should think independently and freely. As such, we are encouraged to think freely and with reasons for why we are meaning as we are meaning, and we should often use theories and/or methods to explain what we think!

Many books have a clear message, and much is about giving content to our life with our personalities, and what we really have around us in all the environments that we are operating! The moral sense in the adventure The Emperor’s New Clothes is that there seems to be absence of rationality. When you forget what is going on and why, and you have wrong perception of reality, you have trouble, and you should change your ways of thinking to the right ways!

H.C. Andersen is a respected and loved author, and often he has important things to tell us, and Ludvig Holberg also has the instructive index finger when writing and telling us who we are, and what is strange and mysterious with different environments. You are your own boss in life, and if you and me have high quality on perception and are not accepting all things, we should think in the correctly manners.
