Ralph Myerz was a known band, coming from Bergen in Norway. And the persons in the band were creative, and they are popular to listen to, but they were dissolved in 2019.

Erlend Sellevold, most known under the artist name Ralph Myerz, is a Norwegian musician, record producer and DJ from Bergen. He is known as a song writer and producer in Ralph Myerz, and in the Jack Herren Band, he is known as a solo artist. For the solo album Supersonic Pulse, he won the Norwegian Grammy Awards in the class for electronic music in 2013. The band Ralph Myerz was producing national and international music of different kinds, but most of the songs were for international audiences!

Ralph Myerz and the Jack Herren Band is a Norwegian electronic band. The group was formed in 1997 of Erlend «Ralph Myerz» Sellevold, and he asked Thomas Lønnheim and Tarjei Strøm to join him! Their first concert was produced under the auspices of Mikal Telle. Their first concert was «The Elleville Party», and it was a success, and the band was booked to several concerts, and they therefore determined to continue as a band.

In 2002, Ralph Myerz signed a contract with the American record company: Emperor Norton Records, and they launced: A Special EP. The album A Special Album came one year later on. It contained among other things the traces «Casino» and «Think Twice», and both of these songs were butchers in clubs around in Europe, and they were commercial in Norway, and they went into the second place on The VGs Top 20 List. For the album which is mentioned, they won the Alarm Price 2004 in the class electronica. During the performances that the group had, the guitarist Mads Berven joined them on live shows!

Ralph Myerz himself is born in 1977, and hence he is 43 years old. He has been active and entertaining in music. You find the group’s music on several platforms, like for instance YouTube, Spotify and YouTube Music. He has used several record companies to record his music, for instance: Beatservice Records, Music for Dreams, and DNM standing for Dealers of Nordic Music, and he has also used more record companies. You cannot predict a band and where to be, but you should be creative and find the new ways where you like to operate, and therefore this is an explorative journey. You also find music pieces from Ralph Myerz and his band back in time on music videos. And there is much show, much lights, and many movements on stages where they have been!

What was their best known songs? We find several on the lists, so the band was productive and effective, but the most known songs were: «My Dream Queen», «Something New» and «My Darling». Accordingly, this is much about innovations and new things in life, and it is also about dreaming back and finding your lover in reality! Their most famous albums were: «Supersonic Pulse», «Buddha-Bar X» and «Nordic Lounge Weekend». Therefore, you should find the nerve systems and the religions in societies where you are meeting people from the whole world!

By the end of the year 2008, Thomas Lønnheim wanted to leave the band. Quickly, they recruited two new band members in the bassist Benjamin Helland and the guitarist Thomas Larsen. Ralph Myerz began in 2009 to focus more on a solo career. You find more background history about Ralph Myerz, the band, and the music environment in Bergen in the documentary Northern Lights.

And again some music as it was asked to be included! :)
