There is a nice human story today. We can be together with thinking, emotions and actions through the whole globe, also in Africa. Africa is a continent with poor people, lack of clean water, and several diseases. Sometimes the United Nations much give help to Africa, but we are having human resources at many places, also in Africa!
We have a dream, that we one day would be together in the world. We can wish this thing, but there is not always possibility for doing such. The Orchestra Baobab is coming from Africa, and this means that they can also sing and play in Africa independently of the color of our skin!
The Orchestra Baobab is coming from Senegal. They have done one comebacks, since they were dissolved in 1987. They have been in Norway, and visiting the Norwegian culture. Meeting another culture could be a shock, but you avoid this shock if you are open for visiting humans of every kind!
15 years have gone since Orchestra Baobab was one of the most recognized music groups from the whole Africa. It is soon more than 50 years since they began to play together. The history about how they travel around the world is about coming lately, but when they are coming, they are comiing with good quality! When being in Africa, one can do whatever one is appreciating, and one can use the current technology, or one can move back to the Stone Age! Africa is many good things, but also bad things, and you should survive as a human! Many humans there are perceived as honest and they are also completely authentic! You meet the authentic in the humans and in the products and in arts! You should love the slogan of the French Revolution when being together with people, and this slogan was freedom, equality and brotherhood.
With their mixture of Cuban and West African rhythms, the band Baobab was a popular orchestra in Senegal during the 1970s. The group was formed as a house orchestra on the club Baobab in Dakar in 1970, with members from Guinea-Bissau and Togo in addition to Senegal. An attempt to be established in Paris during the 1980s was a failure, and when came back to their home country, younger stars with Youssou N’Dour in the front were taken over with modern m’balax-music. After a while, the group was seldom to see, and in 1987 they were completely dissolved. But they have restarted, and today they are existing, but they are not coming from the human environments we are used to see in Europe!
You find this orchestra on YouTube, on Spotify and on YouTube Music. They can have concerts and performances where they are invited in the world. The music videos on the internet are about: «Fayinkounko» and «Nedeleng Ndleleng». We also have popular songs, and famous albums from them. The songs that are known are: «Utrus Horas», «Nijaay» and «Coumba». The albums are: «Specialist in All Styles», «Mouhamadou Bamba» and «Tribute to Ndiouga Dieng». The genres that are playing and singing within are jazz, music of Mali, wolof music and son cubano. This music group is focused on giving humor and harmony in the life of people. We find information on this group on the internet in addition to what we have mentioned, but we should live of lives as we are used to, and we can meet many of the people that are living and working on our planet!
