Well, that was fun!! It's a challenge on the weekend, but, I must say that it was worth the peek in. Lots of interesting people and the things they do.
Now, of course, I want to go back to White Sands and see those herds of wildebeest and other such cool animals - Thanks @bigtom13

White Sands is open to the public one day per year. It's in October I think, but you can drive to the HQ and see some of the herds of exotics there...
My friend is now retired. She and her husband and doggy live on the front range in Colorado. Steve is not retiring well so he is a part time ranger for the Park Service :) Linda and Colter seem to be doing just fine.
I knew they were open, but, wasn't sure when! Thanks so much for the info, I sure would love to see them!
