4 Places You Should Visit As A Tourist In Ghana

in OCD2 years ago

I love traveling. It is the best way to see the world. I haven’t traveled in a lot in my life for reasons beyond my power. In my own way, watching movies, reading books and music is how I travel using my imagination. It’s pretty cool too. Close to the real thing or even better if you ask me.

Mostly I want to travel outside the country to see beautiful places like Rottnest Island and Niagara falls. In my own country, there are equally beautiful places to travel to and I’ll be telling you about them.

MOLE NATIONAL PARK

I have been to Mole National Park before. Last time I went there was I think 6 years ago when I was in Junior High School. It was a school excursion. It was the second time I left Northern Region.

It is considered the largest wildlife refuge in Ghana and located in the Savannah region of Ghana. The Park is located not very far from Larabanga where the mysterious Larabanga mosque is found. Animal lives are protected with the wildlife preservation and so hunting is prohibited. It’s a really beautiful place with very nice views and wonderful animals.

The animals in the park range from cute and cuddly squirrels to wild and scary Lions and Elephants. Tourists are escorted by guards to tour the place and your safety is almost assured if you stick to instructions from the tour guards.

They have a museum and conference room that you can visit when you just arrive to learn about some animals. The park has hilly parts for people like me that like to watch from high grounds. If you’re an animal or landscape lover, you should consider visiting this place.

KINTAMPO WATER FALLS

It shocks even me that I’ve not been to this place considering how many school excursions I’ve participated in and the fact that all my friends have been there. I really really love water and I can’t wait to go there. Despite the fact that I haven’t been there, I’ve read a lot about it and I’ve also been told some very nice stories of the place. The name implies it’s a waterfall obviously and definitely one of the best landscapes you’ll find in Ghana.

KAKUM NATIONAL PARK

This is another national park in Ghana which protects the endangered animal and bird species as well as protect forest areas and has what can be regarded as one of the oldest tree top canopy walk ways. I think it is a very good tourist to help you deal with your fear of heights. The canopy walkway also provides a treetop view from 30 meters above ground level.

LABADI BEACH

Labadi beach is known to be one of the busiest beaches in Ghana located in the Capital of Ghana, Accra. Musical performances including hiplife, reggae and cultural dances are side attractions for tourists on holidays.
People that know my love for sea and beaches will be expecting I mention this place. Once again though, I haven’t been here😅.

Okay so here’s what the place has to offer. First of all, the view on this beach is absolutely beautiful. The sea spreads out as far as your eye can see. This is one good place if you’re planning a picnic or just want some time to chill alone or with friends. The beach also offers food services in the bars and eateries. On early morning weekends, some people work out on the beach. You can go there for swimming and partying and other fun stuff too.

In general, if you're in Ghana as either a citizen or a tourist, these are some few places you should really visit. You'll love them.

Nice dude! Ghana looks like it has a lot of nice views. I want to visit Afrika one day to get a glimpse of the nature down there. It's pretty much the opposite of how we have it in Norway, except for the mountains maybe.

Since you're new to Hive you should check out some communities. Posting into niche communities is better for your content as you'll get attention from people who are interested. This again will grow your post engagement and rewards. This is the kind of post I'm sure they would have loved to see in the amazing nature community.

Also one more thing. The best way to get followers and build a name for yourself is to read, comment and vote on others posts. Even if you don't have a lot of HP. Do what you can and people will be doing the same for you.

Okay tnx. I am not able to do a lot because my HP is limited. I can barely even post. I could only make this post after buying and powering up 4HIVE.

That's fine. Just a tip for the future once you get enough HP and RC to do so :)
