Once on a bike ride, we stopped to pick up dugouts. On this drog, rarely does anyone eat in transport. But a small tractor drove through some kind of remy. Then a man on a bicycle. This man, when we were driving, shouted: "There is a hedgehog sitting on the road." We went to see. A tiny hedgehog sat on the side of the road. He looked sleepy and barely moved.
We began to look around, but nowhere else was there from his family. And then a sad thought came that maybe a passing tractor could somehow hurt the hedgehog or it just lagged behind the family. We decided to take him home, and to observe, possible help from a veterinarian would be necessary.
For several days, the hedgehog lives at our place. He has become livelier and looks very healthy. Yesterday, we took him out into the countryside, look at his behavior and decide how much he would cope alone if we let him go back, but away from the road.
The hedgehog was active during the walk. He was digging in the grass and was looking for something. So in the near future we will return it to its normal habitat.
