Confieso que cuando supe que @ned había vendido Steemit Inc. a @justinsunsteemit, me alegré, pues hace mucho tiempo que la comunidad venía con un gran malestar por lo que era una inadecuada actuación del primer dueño, hacia la plataforma. La misma se encontraba estancada, el precio de la moneda había caído bastante y también se encontraba en un punto bajo sin perspectivas de mejorar. Todo eso produjo en mí ( y sé que también en muchos otros) un aire de esperanza, pues alguien con una visión más "comercial", con más experiencia en el marketing, podría hacer una gran diferencia...

Seguido a esa esperanza, vino una seria incertidumbre, pues las primera declaraciones y acciones, no mostraban claridad en cuanto a los planes que traía el empresario Sun. De manera casi inmediata vino la alarma, al producirse el #hostiletakeover y luego la desesperanza al percibir que no había intención, por su parte, de buscar algún entendimiento o acercamiento.
Para todos nosotros estuvo claro desde el principio que lo que compró Justin Sun fue Steemit Inc. y no la cadena de bloques Steem y mucho menos su comunidad. Pero era evidente que con lo que había comprado iba a tener un impacto directo sobre todo el ecosistema.
El panorama dentro de Steemit no está claro, solo sabemos que los desarrolladores que trabajaban en el proyecto renunciaron.
Algunos de ellos, junto a otros que estuvieron en los inicios, sumado a nuevos participantes, se pusieron a trabajar en una "salida" diferente, desde el primer momento: la creación de una cadena de bloques alterna, que nos permita movernos hacia ella, sin mayores complicaciones. Esa puerta se abrirá este viernes, cuandos erá lanzada la cadena de bloques Hive (https://hive.io/).
En función y apoyo de los usuarios hispanohablantes de Steem, nos hubiera gustado mucho poder estar activos en ambas plataformas, hasta que el panorama se terminara de definir, pero debido a que trabajar en Hive significa una adecuación tecnológica y pretender estar en las dos, al mismo tiempo, se traduciría en cambiar todo nuestro sistema y creación de nuevos bots. Esta tarea nos es imposible de asumir en este momento.
Ante el entusiasmo que ha despertado el lanzamiento de esta nueva plataforma y ante el futuro tan incierto de Steem en estos momentos, La Colmena mudará sus operaciones a la nueva cadena de bloques Hive.
Esto, por supuesto, plantea la necesidad de hacer todos los ajustes a nuestros bots y todo el sistema de control que usamos en nuestra comunidad, pero esperamos que no retrase demasiado la puesta en funcionamiento de todo el proceso.
Ya tenemos la confirmación de que @Curie nos acompañara en Hive y que seguiremos haciendo la curación en español para @C-squared.
Esperamos poder contar allá con el apoyo de otras comunidades y ballenas a fin de poder seguir apoyando a la comunidad hispanohablante.

I confess that when I knew that @ned had sold Steemit Inc. to @justinsunsteemit, I was glad, since the community came with a great deal of discomfort a long time ago for an inadequate performance by the first owner, towards the platform. It was stagnant, the price of the currency had fallen quite a bit and it was also at a low point with no prospect of improvement. All this produced in me (and I know that in many others) an air of hope, because someone with a more "commercial" vision, with more experience in marketing, could make a big difference...
Following that hope, serious uncertainty came, as the first statements and actions did not show clarity regarding the plans that businessman Sun brought. Almost immediately came the alarm, when the #hostiletakeover occurred and then hopelessness when perceiving that there was no intention, on his part, to seek any understanding or approach.
It was clear to all of us from the start that what Justin Sun bought was Steemit Inc. and not the Steem blockchain and much less its community. But it was clear that what he had bought was going to have a direct impact on the entire ecosystem.
The picture within Steemit is unclear, we only know that the developers working on the project quit.
Some of them, along with others who were in the beginning, added to new participants, went to work on a different "way out", from the first moment: the creation of an alternate blockchain, allowing us to move towards it, without big complications. That gate will open this Friday when the Hive blockchain will be launched (https://hive.io/).
Based on and with the goal of supporting Spanish-speaking Steem users, we would have liked to be able to be active on both platforms, until the final picture was defined, but because start working on Hive means a technological adaptation and pretending to be on both, at the same time, it would mean changing our entire system and creating new bots. This task is impossible for us to assume at this time.
Given the enthusiasm aroused by the launch of this new platform and in the face of Steem's uncertain future at the moment, La Colmena will move its operations to the new Hive blockchain.
This, of course, raises the need to make all the adjustments to our bots and all the control system that we use in our community, but we hope that it does not delay too much the implementation of the entire process.
We already have the confirmation that @Curie will be with us on Hive and that we will continue curating in Spanish for @C-squared.
We hope to have the support of other communities and whales there in order to continue supporting the Spanish-speaking community.
In this new adventure of the move and start-up of Hive, some of the main witnesses who have been accompanying us in Steem have already committed themselves, such as @blocktrades, @curie, @c-squared, @cervantes, @roelandp, @therealwolf , @ausbitbank, @steempress, @berniesanders, @drakos, among many others.

Ahora es cuando comienza un largo camino de incertidumbres, y aún cuando el nacimiento de Hive está lleno de buenos augurios, para quienes hemos creado y compartido contenido por algunos años en Steemit, no tenemos mayor información al respecto, salvo algunos posts recientes.
