I like to think dad is somewhere with my mum, at peace and happy. He was a humble, kind and generous man and deserves peace. He was a wonderful artist and I am pleased to have some of his paintings, including the one pictured here. They will always remind me of him.

It's much better in real life, but yes, he has captured the scene well. It is based on a place in Australia (where we live) called Cairns in the State of Queensland. (Right on the Great Barrier Reef).
