Have you ever heard of roses?
Do you know how many colors roses?
Well, this time I want to share the story of roses to all of you.
One time, there was a young man who had a rose seed. He really wanted to plant the rose in his backyard garden. A fertilizer and a small shovel have been provided. Rushing, he also prepared a small pot where the rose will grow. The best pot was chosen, and the pot was placed in a corner that was adequately exposed to sunlight. He hoped that these seeds can grow perfectly.
He watered the rose seeds every day. Diligently, he cared for the tree. Do not forget, if there is grass that disturbs, he will immediately feed to avoid food shortages. In a few moments, the bud flowers is start. The petals appear to be cracking, even though the color doesn't look perfect. This youngster is happy, for his hardwork is starting to pay off.
He investigated the flowers carefully. He looked surprised, because also grew small thorns that covered the stems. He regrets why the sharp thorns appeared along with the bloom of this beautiful flower. Of course, the thorns will disturb the beauty of his roses.
The young man seemed to be muttering to himself, "Why from such a beautiful flower grow so many sharp thorns? Of course this will made it hard to take care of him later. Every time I tidy up, I always hurt my hand. There's always a part of my skin is scratched. Ah this job just makes me sick. I won't let my hands bleed because of these annoying spikes. "
Eventually, this young man seemed reluctant to pay attention to his roses. He began to not care. The rose is never watered again every morning and evening. He let the grass that disturbed the growth of the rose. Its previously blossoming petal is now looking wistful. The leaves that grow on each stem begin to fall one by one. Finally, before developing perfectly, the flower is molt and withered.
Friend, the story was already finished. But, there is one moral message we can achieve in it. Human soul is just like the previous story. In every soul, there is always a 'rose' embedded. God is the one who put the glory in each of our hearts. Like the flowering gardens, in fact in our souls, there are also rose buds and thorns that will break.
But unfortunately, there are some of us who only see the "thorn" that grows. Feeling only weaknesses that exist in him. Feel just a burden to others. Many of our brothers who only see the bad side, so that in living this life is filled with pessimism as if they reject their own existence. Our brother is often disappointed with himself and does not want to accept it. They think that only things that hurt will grow from it. So that it refuses to "water" the good things that actually exist and never understand their potential.
They also actually have beautiful roses in the soul. Many people do not realize that there is a rose.
Friend, if we can find the beautiful "roses" that grow in the soul, we will be able to ignore the thorns that appear. We, will be encouraged to make it open, and continue to bloom until dozens of new shoots will appear. At each of these buds, buds of happiness, tranquility, peace will bear fruit, which will fill the gardens of our souls. The most beautiful pleasure is when we succeed in showing them the existence of the roses, and ignoring the thorns that arise.
The fragrant roses in their hearts will decorate our days. The scent of beauty it offers, is like the calmness of the lake water that calms the intricacies of the heart. Come, we find the "roses" of calmness, happiness, peace in our souls, and we return to those who feel excluded and excluded. Maybe, yes, maybe, we will also meet thistles and thorns, but don't make us despair. Maybe, our hands will be scratched and hurt, but don't make us sad. Our happiness is when we find them, outcast souls, pessimistic souls, happy smiles, as if finding air when they will run out of oxygen.
