Sentirse orgulloso de nuestro país es suspirar, respirar profundo y querer estar en todo los lugares de nuestra amplia Venezuela. Nuestros familiares que tuvieron que salir fuera de nuestro paraíso son los que nos hacen llegar sus historias, esas historias que nos advierte que cuando estamos por esta plataforma podemos tener una válvula de escape, pensar mejor para dar ese paso, claro está, respetando la decisión de cada uno. Salir de paseo en nuestro país es recargarse, reiniciarse, agarrar fuerzas para seguir.

Cuando te preguntan ¿Porqué el chocolate de Venezuela es el mejor chocolate del mundo? ¿Qué respondes? Bueno, por que si, claro es venezolano, o seguro con alguna mueca dejamos escapar la palabra...obvio.

Luego de trescientas curvas llegamos a un pueblo llamado Canoabo. Un pueblo donde sus habitantes reconocen al turista y lo abordan con mucha sencillez, bondad y con un temple de servicio extraordinario. Personas que te miran a los ojos.

En nuestro transporte viajábamos doce damas y dos caballeros. Fueron dos horas y algo de camino, para llegar a nuestro destino, donde las bromas, risas y esa guía de una de las damas nos animaba, motivándonos a tener todo listo para tomar fotos, contando experiencias hermosas de su vida en ese pueblo. Nuestra amiga Matilde con sus ojitos brillantes nos daba con pelos y señales lo bueno que era vivir en su pueblo. hasta cuando se enamoro perdidamente de su amor eterno.
In our transport we traveled twelve ladies and two gentlemen. It took us two hours and a bit to get to our destination, where the jokes, laughter and the guide of one of the ladies encouraged us, motivating us to have everything ready to take pictures, telling us beautiful experiences of her life in that town. Our friend Matilde with her bright eyes was telling us in detail how good it was to live in her town, even when she fell in love with her eternal love

Llegamos a la chocolatería , pisar ese suelo fue algo mágico, mis pulmones se ensancharon, sentí que mi respiración era más ligera, sin menos dificultad. Nos recibieron los guías. Un chico nos abordó con toda su amabilidad para darnos las normas que deberíamos tener en cuenta en el lugar. Luego de tomarnos todas las fotos de ese momento, cada uno de nosotros fue al baño, nos colocamos el gel, tomamos agua, yo seguía inhalando aire puro.
We arrived at the chocolate shop, stepping on that floor was something magical, my lungs widened, I felt that my breathing was lighter, without less difficulty. We were greeted by the guides. A guy approached us with all his kindness to give us the rules that we should take into account in the place. After taking all the pictures of that moment, each one of us went to the bathroom, we put on the gel, we drank water, I was still inhaling fresh air
Una voz nos avisaba que comenzaríamos el tour del chocolate. Un chico iba adelante nos decía que llegaríamos al vivero, ese lugar donde se tiene el primer contacto con esta maravillosa planta. "seguro alguien recuerda en un libro cuando era muchacha o muchacho la historia del chocolate" un gran NOOOOOOOO nadie recordaba nada de eso, a manera de broma el chico nos dijo que seguro era por la edad que tenemos, por eso no recordábamos, entre risa dejamos pasar ese juego. Un hombre llamado Luis Morales llegó hace 17 años a Venezuela. Este chileno no comprendía como él trabajaba haciendo el mejor chocolate del mundo, con el mejor cacao del mundo, tenía la inquietud de no entender que si el chocolate era el mejor del mundo, los habitantes no sabían nada de esta planta. En ese momento dice: " vamos a ofrecer el tour del chocolate". Realizar algo diferente, donde todo el que viniera pudiera tener esta vía de escape, ese momento de alejarse de cornetas, monóxido, gritos y disfrutar de un lugar especial con unos chicos especiales que nos dieran una información grata sin aturdir al visitante. Conectarnos con esa historia, esa historia que nos ayuda a entender el valor de nuestro cacao. Un paseo que nos ayuda a descubrir algunas peculiaridades de este fruto, un paseo didáctico y de distracción.

A man named Luis Morales arrived 17 years ago in Venezuela. Pudimos ver otros árboles que se remontan a 327 años, fue conmovedor sentir como nuestra historia y la de los antepasados se unían para poder hacer posible este encuentro tan hermoso. Entre árboles de apamate, Camoruco, Barrabas, Cedro, tamarindo chino, guayaba, ciruelas, onoto, naranjas, limones... en la Haciendo Don Cayetano no solo llueve cacao también llueve café.

Con el tiempo, cuenta la leyenda que llegaron más personas aficionadas más a la fotografía que a la información que ellos suministraban. También es valido, nosotros queríamos saber la historia y también traer nuestras fotografías. El chico de una manera grata nos hizo entender que todo era valido, que debíamos sincerarnos y así lo hicimos. Yo quisiera dar todo el detalle de esta visita, tendría que realizar unas cuantas publicaciones. Por hoy solo muestro algunas imágenes. Muchos expertos han llegado a estas zonas, solo para ver las plantaciones, ya saben bastante de la historia del cacao, así que no quieren escuchar mucho al amigo Ezequiel.

Ya nuestro paseo casi terminando, vamos a mitad de camino, llegó la hora de comer, el almuerzo, lo disfrutamos al máximo, algo sencillo de las manos de damas sencillas de Canoabo. Unos patacones que estaban riquísimos por solo 10$ pudimos disfrutar de un rico jugo de papelón con limón, junto a los mejores patacones que he probado, estuvieron espectaculares, mejor digo...mundiales.

Our tour was almost over, we were half way, it was time to eat, lunch, we enjoyed it to the fullest, something simple from the hands of simple ladies from Canoabo. Some patacones that were delicious, for only 10$ we could enjoy a delicious juice of papelón with lemon, next to the best patacones I have ever tasted, they were spectacular, I better say...worldwide

Provocaba quedarse debajo de un árbol, volverme mochilera ja, ja, ja @miguelmederico, menos mal que podemos ver , valernos por nuestros propios medios y tener este trabajo. Muchas emociones en ese lugar, el orgullo de ser venezolana, ver a otras personas esforzándose para salir adelante.
Qué recorrido tan hermoso y en especial los productos que elaboran, me llamó mucho la atención el estuche que hacen con la propia cáscara del cacao para colocar en su interior el chocolate ya elaborado, sin duda un souvenir muy apreciado por los amantes del chocolate tanto en Venezuela como en el exterior.
