1,2,1,2 Whats good!

Some oldschool scratches for y'all with
a real vinyl, directly, no serato :p
Actually it's a classic DJ Rectangle Scratch/Efx
Record on colored vinyl, that i used already
in 1998 when i became south german Stanton
HipHop Champion.

The problem with my mixer is, that the crossfader

is totally jammed up and doesn't move smoothly
anymore, the way you need it, to work proper with
cross-faders.

Normally no problem,

because i bought this very good
Rane Empath Mixer like 10 years ago for a
1000.-€ with exchangeable components, like the
faders. Those faders need to be exchanged after
some time, depending on how hard they are
getting used. Everything else on the mixer still
works very good.

So the crossfader

which is used the most needed to be exchanged
already more than a year ago, and by the way,
these are "Penny & Giles" faders from the UK,
some of the best faders in the world.

But they don't produce them no more

for older mixers! That's so messed up!!!
Why do i buy a quality product, that can last
a lifetime!!?
Now i have to buy a complete new Mixer, and
the new pro DJ Mixer with integrated Cue points
cost around 2000.-€/$.

Anyway,

sometimes "shit" even happens live, and you should
be able to "work around" stuff.
So i recorded some "grab" scratches with the high
fader for my new song coming:"Fear or Love" and
some oldschool scratches with only some
crossfading :p

Peace

Thats a WHOLE LOT of scratching! :) Old school: Well, we can see that, you didn't had to tell this hahaha. Yea, equipment is expensive and dont seem to have an external life. Guess earn some more cryptos and you can afford a replacement of some sort. Funny, maybe the first time I hear the fader knob so well; I suppose when I hear my friends doing this kinda things, the music is louder. Never realised the fader would make such hard sounds at both ends :)

Haha...yeah, it's loud as f... lmao :)
3 reasons:
1.) No background music
2.) The Camera Microphone is closer to the mixer than to the speakers
3.) Being jammed up, i have to push the crossfader harder
I really have to check for a new mixer ;)

you could try and get some beat mixed in that goes along with the clicking of the fader hahaha

I dare you: click me!

Haha..yeah, good idea :p
