Imagine, you have something to say. The answer to many problems people are suffering from. What you have in your mind is going to change the world for the absolute best. Poverty and misery will be wiped out from the face of the earth and prosperity will take place, if, and only if you open your mouth and just say it. Though, there's one little problem, and that is the fact that you do not have a mouth on your face!
Here's another scenario; You have the mouth on your face. You can talk and speak and shout and scream out the final answer to there whatever was and whatever there will be. And of course there's catch to this one as well, and that is the fact that all the people have no ear on them!
Let's analyze them for a bit. In the first one, everyone has their sets of ears and the capacity to listen, but the person with the answer, does not have the power to spill the beans for everyone. In the other scenario though, that one person has all the means and capacity to pass the information. But the people have no ear to receive the life-changing answer.
Now, I bet we can connect these scenarios to our daily lives. How many times have you wanted to pass an information and you encountered a person who does not want to listen to what you have to say? We also know those people who do not want to give the information that can help many people, whatever their reason might be. We always see that one news where some countries are still fighting over an idea.
One thing is obviously common here, and that's the absence of a pathway for the information to travel through...
Communication, is that pathway for us. wanting to talk about what is in your mind, and wanting to listen to the people who want to talk. There will be no change towards progress if we don't get to put together what we have in our minds. This skill can actually change the world if we really get to master it in a right way.
This world can be a better place if, we just try to put our feet in our front person's shoes, and try to understand the other people.

Love the examples you gave in this post and it is so true, a lot of times, if not too many, communication between people is so poor/one sided or even non-existing which is quite sad. Good thing is this is something we still can change, starting from ourselves and giving an example to others who are willing to make the same inner change and start a chain of positive changes. :)
