I wish they would burn the ninja mine too. It's a golden publicity opportunity. The chain that burned the ninja mine. No one could mention it in detriment to the platform ever again. Instead it will linger, everytime there is contention over the dhf someone will be saying something about it being misused.
At the very least, it could bleed into null over time :)
I would have liked that approach since the ninjamined stake counts toward our market cap. A straight burn would have dropped us in the rankings.
I am actually more in favor of moving it to an account with no keys. Essentially a @null account but one where the hive just sits there, can’t be transferred out, and is good for nothing except for artificially counting toward our circulation and therefore market cap.
I think that as long as it exists, it would be a problem. The drop in marketcap would hopefully be temporary once the price increased based on limited supply.
