Perspective - Helpless.

You won't understand what being helpless means
Until you have to watch your child taking drip on the hospital bed
You just wish to take away the pains so she can feel better
I have never had to take drips before, not even once
But I wish I could take this for her to feel her pain
I've been helpless a few times and this tops it too
I've been helpless in many situations and I hate it
Here I am, just holding her close to my chest to watch her sleep
I wish I have that magic wand to do 'viola' and make her alright
Look deep into malaria in her system and scare them with fright
While leaving her healthy, strong and dancing again in the light
She has always been a smart girl, even at her age, she is so bright
It's helpless watching her desire to play hard but she couldn't
Health is underrated and we don't know how fortunate we are sometimes
We seem to take most things about life for granted since we got them for free
When you are down, everything comes into better perspective
