She comes as a dear friend
That keeps you from bawling
The calm and collected spirit
That doesn't allow you
To show your fears and emotions
She is the one
Who knows how to fake a smile the most
When you meet her
She looks like a godsent -
Always trying to protect you
from the truth and reality
She hides you from the light
that you need
She tells you it might blind you
But you shall not see the truth that you need
For she has wrapped it surely in a thick black cloak
She will come as the perfect escape
From your dreary sad life
She will seem like the Messiah
Whereas she is nothing but a cosplayer.
She will prevent you from expressing yourself
Bound your soul with illusions
She will preach to you about the gospel
Of the brave and the strong
Who never shed a tear; only weak people do.
She will whisper to you that only she understands your plight
And only her can help you.
But all of these are lies, so is she
Do not fall into the trap that she lays.
Do not walk into the prison that she has disguised as a palace
For depression does not reveal to you who she is
Until you get deep into her
Depression is a wet floor
Chilling and enticing with each step
Till you are totally in it and fall headfirst into her dangerous abode...

Thank you for your time.

Still me,

My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer.
