This is true, I joined Steemit 11 months ago and was on hiatus just until May—all because I don't understand how it works and I also can't post / vote before.
When I came back after finding a link to Steemit again, everyone were moving, this time I was curious, I read a lot of posts and learned better about Steem and Hive.
By June, I became more active in Hive and started inviting people. Out of a number, only a handful joined, and out of those who join, only one did post something weekly.
I agree on your points and Hive is really a welcoming place. I met people who helped me out too, and people here are forgiving on whatever theme you're posting about as long as it's well thought of, quality contents.
Lol, your journey sounds something like mine.
I joined steemit in 2017. Left it in 2018, joined again in 2020. Invited a lot of my friends, most left after a few days.
Good place.
I wish you good luck for your hive journey.😄
True, samee.
I'm actually loving Hive, than WP. WP was formal, need to stick to niche, and censor yourself. Hive is different, people are being "human" here, not some Celebrity-Fan sort of relationship. Haha!
Yepp...people are real and good here🙂
