I LOVE THE SPOTS ON THESE YOUNG ONES

These lambs are Thunderkill and Speckles, many months ago.

Yesterday, I shared some photos of what Apocalypse, Jacob, and Thunderkill look like now. Since they are four-horned Jacob's Sheep with some pretty good genetics, we decided to raise them up and see how their horns would form. Sure enough, they are growing rather impressively.

If you pay special attention to that ram on the far right (Thunderkill), he'll be the young one on the far left in the photos below. It's interesting to see how the darker wool "bleaches out" in the sun too, and becomes a much lighter brown in coloration. New lambs are always happy times, so we are looking forward to the next batch. For now, we'll just enjoy the photos of previous lambing seasons. Enjoy the pics!
