I dedicated myself to portray Billie Eilish, She is an American artist, born in Los Angeles, California. he is very young, is just 18 years old.
but she is a girl who has accomplished many things, in the 2020 grammy she won five nominations, she won the award for best new artist and best song and recording of the year.
particularly is one of my favorites

Below you can see the process and some details that I will contribute from my learning with this portrait.
the materials I used were the following:
- A4 size sheet (use a normal sheet did not have white cardboard, but it is better to use a cardboard)
- 5H 2b, 4b, 6b pencils and medium charcoal
- eraser
- blur
- cotton
Step 1
use the 5H pencil for the grid and the sketch, I think that the sketch is the fundamental part of a portrait, it depends on whether or not the drawing resembles the person we want to portray
ESP: use el lápiz 5H para la cuadrícula y el boceto, creo que el boceto es la parte fundamental de un retrato, depende de si el dibujo se parece o no a la persona que queremos retratar
Step 2
With the 2B pencil I begin to shade the facial features and the most important elements and with charcoal draw the edge of the shirt.
ESP: Con el lápiz 2B empiezo a sombrear los rasgos faciales y los elementos más importantes y con carbón dibuja el borde de la camisa.
step 3
in this step there is a super important detail, they must pay attention, Billie's hair is silver in this photo, so in order to achieve that hue we must make the background darker, and thus we will give the illusion that the hair is the lightest in the photo.
drawing hair has always been difficult for me, so i keep practicing
ESP: en este paso hay un detalle súper importante, deben prestar atención, el cabello de Billie es plateado en esta foto, por lo que para lograr ese tono debemos oscurecer el fondo, y así daremos la ilusión de que el cabello es el más claro en la foto.

and finally draw the clothes and the details that we forget.
always remember to put your signature, the date is also very important to keep progress, when I save my drawing I put the day, month and year
