We all have limited time and we should try to make good use of it. Time management is a very essential skill in order for people to achieve their goals.

Do you want to get a ripped body? You'll have to allocate time regularly to exercise.

Do you want to learn a new language? You'll have to allocate time to practice.

There is so much to do in this world and sometimes it might feel like there isn't enough time to achieve our goals and fulfill our dreams.

Every single person on this Earth only has 24 hours in their day. It all boils down to how we use this time.

But there is a crucial thing that we tend to forget while we are running on a mad dash to achieve our goals. We are always running after one thing or another but in this journey, we forget that the most important thing is to have fun along the way.

I know it sounds cliche but hear me out.

Let's rewind back to the time before the coronavirus epidemic started.

We were all living our daily lives. We had a routine, deadlines, and a strict schedule to follow.

And then the pandemic happened. Our whole schedule was turned upside down. Earlier we didn't have enough time and now suddenly we have plenty.

"You'll never get this much free time ever again."

Everywhere both online and offline, people were telling others to be productive during this time.

To not waste this time.

To use this time to work for your goals.

While that is sound advice, not everyone is high functioning like that.

It's great that you want to work on your goals and be productive during this time. But people often forget that it is also completely fine to lay back and enjoy.

We all had tight schedules before where we had to work day in day out. You might as well use this free time to get yourself a well-earned rest.

Forcing ourselves to adhere to what society expects will only lead to stress and take all the fun out of everything. It is extremely important to maintain our mental health and well being.

Our body is only the vessel that our mind is the master of. Everything we do, we do it because our brain demands it. A small imbalance in our nervous system and we can't function like a normal human being.

So it is imperative that we keep our brain healthy.

Conclusion

I respect you if you're using this time to work towards what you want to achieve and I respect you the same even if you are not.

It's perfectly fine if you want to have a movie marathon instead of working all day.

You don't have to feel guilty if you're having fun.

Because having fun is not a waste of time.
