RE: STEEM / Hive - Double Dipping and other Stories

in OCD • 6 years ago (edited)

Hey dude 👋

Yeah, I've already used ionomy to sell steem and buy hive. There is a lot of up and down in a range on hive/btc so I'm gonna play the range for a bit and then power up my hive profits :)

P.s. I'm also having teething troubles with Hive-vote it's not voting everyone I've got on my list. Lol, it didn't vote this post and I set a % on you about a month ago.

Things take time I guess.

The double-dip I refer to is cross-posting your content on both chains. Is it ethical, should we be resolutely loyal to one chain over the other; is this akin to voting up your own comments?

Very complex question for me. Have you seen The Ink Well yet? It's a fiction and poetry community I built single highhandedly in a crazy 10 day period of high energy mode. Well, curie sponsored us with their community vote, and curie are still curating on steem, but OCD also support us and c-squared and they're both on hive only. So for me, and the ink well community members, it has to be a double dip to gain the full value for their posts. I would like to see curie come to hive to be honest. It would make my life 100% easier 😉

The spread is quite large on there! If you are patient you can make some extra by playing the BTC/HIVE pair. I'm an impatient bastard so don't fall into the category!
