Before Moving to New Notebook

2022 is almost over and we are passing the middle half of the year. At work, I don't even feel the speed of time passing. My workbook is also finished so I decided to move to my new one. But traditionally I used to decorate pages of my notebooks while keeping notes. Most importantly it helps me to get rid of the daily work stress.

Tasks one after another cause to pass the day without feeling anything. But these little stickers, sketches, doodles and decorations make add a little color to my life.

This empty page is like my life without little silly habits. Actually, life in Sri Lanka nowadays means no taste.

It was around 6 pm when I was off work. But within a few minutes, a powercut occurred. I really wanted to decorate the first page of my new book. So I started with the aid of a torch.

I just wanted to give a pink touch to it, because it'll look much more girlish. The surface of the page was a bit shiny, so I knew it won't work well with colored pencils. I have plenty of papers here, so I just cut and pasted some flowers from them.

Stickers are the next cute thing. But even after adding stickers I still noticed some white space around. So I filled them with small spiral drawings :)

Probably I should add some dots too. To make it further filled, I used some washi tapes. Actually, I had to cover the border first using scraped papers and then paste other things on top of it. But still, I think this one looks okay for my charm coverage.

That turned out pretty cool. Now you have a notebook that no one has. I used cover my notebooks with different magazine papers to make it unique and still have that habit.

However, as my Mod colleagues told you before, OCD is for topics that don't fit in any other community and should be used when you don't find a niche community for your post.

We have different communities on Hive and we're encouraging users to post in the right community based on the topic of the post. This post for example would fit better in Hive Diy community.

Here's a guide I put together to help you learn about how communities work and why you should use them -> Communities Explained - Newbie Guide.

Once you posted your post in the right community, you can then cross post it to OCD community. Here's a guide about cross posting.

Please don't delete any post with the purpose of reposting it in another community as that can be considered abuse! Leave this post here, you'll get it right next time.
