
Today’s modern life is hectic and sometimes stressful for everyone of us. Hence, it is important for all of us to take a break sometimes and make some “Me Time”, that is spend some time with self, reflect on where we are going, are we going right, is this what we want, what else do we want in life, if we understood our purpose of life, are we happy, are we at peace, are we loving life, are we living it to the fullest, are we growing, the areas where we are lacking in life, are we recognizing our mistakes, are we correcting them and if not possible are we acknowledging that we do not have to repeat them, are we helping others who we can, counting our blessings, are we giving in return to the world what all we are capable of, are we becoming a better human day by day, who love us, who doesn’t, who to hold on, who to leave, who makes us happy, who gives us stress, hahaa, and most importantly, enjoying our own company, feeling proud about ourselves, feeling that we are strong, independent, and capable enough to not need anyone else in life, feeling that we are special and deserve special attention in the life of our loved ones, feeling that we deserve the required reputation, respect, and goodwill in the society, feeling that we are worthy of getting and achieving everything in life, feeling that we can do anything if we make our mind to, with our will, determination, courage, hard work.
Overall, making some alone time to overall reflect on our life so that we can move ahead further accordingly and also to spend some quality time with self so that we can know ourselves better, relax, have fun, enjoy, refresh, get energy to start again, and feel good.
But most of the times, amidst the pressures of work, responsibilities, spending quality time with family and friends, we do not get enough alone time, and in the long run we become irritated, frustrated, angry, uneasy, bored, and less productive in life.
It’s not that we must not spend time with our loved ones, family, friends. Besides, it’s hell lot necessary. After all, our whole live revolves around them. We live for them, they live for us, they live to the fullest because of us and we because of them. It’s just that once in a while frequently we must spare some time for self also. It is necessary.
Some “ME TIME” helps us to reduce stress, anxiety, know the exact root of our life problems, go in the right direction to solve them, right perspective to solve them, be more kind, compassionate, empathetic, become a more creative person, add more fun in life, add life to years, improve relationships, know the value of self love, improve memory, focus, concentration, become mentally stronger, make a plan in life.
Overall, some “ME TIME” is frequently necessary in life to help us reflect on our life and lead it in a direction that makes us a better human for always.
So, no matter how busy our life gets, we must frequently spare some “ME TIME” for ourselves always.

I discovered this about two years ago. Not that I didn't use to have me time before then. Being an introvert, I was always on my own, which I loved, but when I got into the University, it became almost impossible, I soon started feeling frustrated, burned out and angry. I would later isolate myself and that's when I discovered that's what I had been missing. Since then, no matter how hectic or busy things get, I try to make out some time for myself
Even I try and make out some "ME TIME" for myself. After all, without it we can never grow and succeed in life. So, I suggest everyone to spare some "ME TIME" to live to the best always. Thanks for dropping by! 🙏😊
