They say Saturdays are for weddings.
Those of you who have been following my posts,you will notice that I told a beautiful story of how I met my wife and how we got married too.
Today,I want to concentrate on a very important part of every event ever planned and it's no other department than the decorations department.
It is said that decoration is the heart of every event.
Somehow it's true because you can't talk about an event you attended without talking about the style or type of decoration done and the creativity that was put in to achieve excellence.
Another thing that brings out the beauty in the creativity is the color combinations to achieve a certain style to suit the event.
You cannot talk about an event without talking about the decoration because it's all about the packaging.
Believe me,if you see a beautiful decoration in an event you attended, what comes into your mind as you're well dressed for the occasion is to take snapshots to show off to family and friends on social media.
OMZY EVENTS
Omzy is a very talented lady, happily married and event planner. infact, if she takes over your event, you should literally go to sleep and wake up on the day of your occasion and everything she promised to deliver will be ready before the time.
She's articulate, meticulous to the core. she makes sure everything is perfect and looking glamorous.
She planned our traditional marriage from start to finish.
She's one person that will turn your Penny to a million dollar event, she combines colors perfectly.
When we chose a particular design and she gave me her bill,I was shocked because we felt she wasn't going to give us what we wanted, ranging from the VIP table, choice of meals to be served, seating arrangement, couples chair, style of cake, infact she's always not trying to do what others have done or are doing.
She's very innovative in nature.
Few hours to our D-Day,she invited us to come see what she has done and where we needed changes or adjustment.
Behold, when we saw the finishing, I had a mist of tears in my eyes, I was dazed.
My wife stood for 5mins without uttering a word, she was dumbfounded, speechless and elated. All she could do was to give OMZY a hug that lasted for only God knows how long, while I walked around as though in a ghost town.
You needed to see our Buffett stand that day.
From the way she arranged the venue of refreshment, villagers had to personally ask questions every step of the way, ranging from where to sit, choice of food to choose from the menu list placed on every table arranged.
It was indeed a sight to behold, at some point,I forgot the event took place in my wife's hometown, somewhere in Abia state.
After the event,I was glad we gave her the event to plan, because our marriage became the talk of the entire community for the entire month, Lol.
In Nigerian parlance, they say "Good food na money kill am".
