The potato is a very delicious and nutritious vegetable that can be eaten in many ways: steamed, baked, fried, boiled. It also has many health benefits.
I love making salads with potatoes, and accompanying stewed meat with mashed potatoes, and when I eat a burger, I can't miss the fries. One of the recipes that I like to make with potatoes are the croquettes that I will show below.
Ingredients
- 1 sausage
- 3 medium potatoes
- 50 g of cheese
- Margarine
- Wheat flour or bread crumbs
- 1 beaten egg
- Parsley and salt.
Step by step
- Boil the peeled potatoes, to make the mash. When they are ready, mash them with a little bit of margarine. Season with salt and add the chopped parsley, set aside.
- Add the pieces of sausage with the cheese and mashed potatoes.
Make the croquettes by passing through the mixed egg and then through the flour (repeat this step twice) always giving them the shape of a potato. Leave them another moment in the freezer while you heat the oil.
- Fry in a pan with plenty of hot oil until golden brown Drain on absorbent paper.
